Hey Nolan! thanks for the love. Here's a brief overview of my signal chain if this helps. Fender Mustang Special - > Wampler Ego Compressor - > JHS Morning Glory - > Vox AC 15 - > EQ, compression, saturation, reverb plug-ins via Pro Tools. Hope this helps! :)

I love your videos dude. I've been watching guitar covers for over a year now and finally got the guts to buy a guitar. I know nothing about guitars, could you help me out? In order to buy a eletric guitar, do I need to get a pedal or an amp? Both? Which guitar would you recommend for a beginner? I'd like to play mostly King Krule, Tom Misch style. Thanks!

Hey! Big thanks. Wow. I’m excited for your journey! My personal recommendation would be to get a guitar and amp first. Make some noise!! King Krule and Tom Misch both use Fender guitars. (Stratocaster and a Mustang) so if you want a similar sound or playing style, go with that! But to be honest, follow your heart! Your first guitar is a fun time so don’t feel like you need to limit yourself to just those two. Try a bunch out and see what strikes your fancy. Hope this helps!

Hey Brandon! The main two that I was using on this are the Wampler Ego Compressor and the JHS Morning Glory. The reverbs are plug-ins and I believe I used the Sound Toys Little Plate or one of the TAL Reverbs. Probably TAL Reverb III
