I just have to tell you, you have such a sweet spirit about you. 🥹❤️ you remind me of my sweet Mom, whom I lost right after I lost my Pop, last year. I love how calm and positive you are. I am so happy for you, your husband, and family that you are able to start a new season in your life. Your GA accent is just precious and I felt like family listening to your video. Thank you so much for sharing. God bless you and your plans. Sending hugs to you from a total stranger up north 🥰

Thank you for watching! I am sorry to hear about your loss. God bless you as well.
As the saying goes, " Home is where the heart is!" We moved to another state 4 years ago. It's tough. Luckily it was with my husband's job, and they moved us. They packed up our whole house in 2 days, and hauled it for us. Our house we purchased needed new flooring, and that took 2 weeks. So 3 of us, 3 pups, and 3 guinea pigs and 2 hamster had to stay in a hotel for the 2 weeks. Then when they delivered all our stuff, it was crazy. We had to sort through all the boxes to find everything. It's hard, to move. Once here, I got rid of a lot of stuff and took about 20 good size moving boxes to Goodwill. I purged a lot. If I could only have gotten my husband to do the same. It feels good.

@@ourforeverfarm this was my 15th move in my life. Unfortunately it's not our last. I think i have one more move in me, and it's got to be the final one. We are getting too old for this. We moved to the desert for my husbands job transfer. We didn't think this out very well. Except he's happier, we have a beautiful home, but its too hot and very dirty. We miss the greenery, especially grass, cooler weather.

Next move will be our final. We have been traveling a bit more now, I'm looking for a place to move to with better weather. I hate the heat, and I hate the desert. That's as much as I have conditions for. We also need to downsize.
Correction ; a home is wherever u make it . It's all about the love what's there in it ... Good blessings ...🙏

Amen! That is so true. Thank you for sharing this.
I love the two fish you had mounted together. I am in the middle of a move and cannot find a thing. It really made me think about what is necessary.

This video was actually the 3rd one I watched of yours yesterday. Making bisquits with 2 ingredients was my first one. I Loved it so much I wanted more:) I watched your moving to the lakehouse 2nd. I understand how nothing is forever. My husband and I are in our late 60's and sooo want to retire but can't just yet. I plan on watching all of your videos:))
You look better in the morning than I do! lol Enjoyed listening to you talk as you gave us your little tour. Isn't it wonderful to be happy in what ever stage of life that we're in? I can tell that you are. I live in a double wide and as far as I'm concerned, it is my castle. If I understood you correctly (the TV my husband was listening to, was giving my ears competition) and the other comments before me that I read, this is not where you are going to stay and you are still looking? I know that you will get there...in God's time, like everything else that has and is happening. You certainly are taking advantage of every way to use the space you have. Happy hunting and God bless you Val. ((hugs))

Awe. Thank you!!! Yes. We are going to get a house soon. Thank you so much for commenting!!
Well I guess I found your channel in time to share your new journey of this stage of your life. Congratulations to your husband on his well earned excitement. I couldn’t get my late husband to retire, he was a workaholic, 32 years on the RR & 30 years working part time delivering furniture for a big furniture store. He was retirement age, even the RR asked him when he planned to retire, I guess God had to make that decision for him early one morning, thankfully he was home when God decided to take him. He was a southern gentleman from Jackson, MS but I didn’t want to be a widow at 51. Anyway I bought a cottage on the river bc I loved to fish, like the fog rolling in off the Lake, so it does on the river. Ten miles away are 2 big Lakes, Winters are rough but I’ve made it through 21 years & thinking about moving back to town in a couple years. Y’all enjoy your time together and make the most of it, life is short. Hopefully you’ll find your perfect place soon, your Lake home looks peaceful.

I’m so sorry about your husband. Life is short. I know that for sure. We have found and remodeled a house. I’m very behind in showing because of different things in life happening. Let me know what you end up doing! I love hearing from you. Thx for watching.
Wishing you the best at this time of your life. Pray you both have a long life together. Can’t find a place to ask a question but I have just found you and love your videos! I wanted to cook your cabbage casserole but on your video you used both soups but in the recipe, you used one OR the other…can you clarify?
@ourforeverfarm

We are also on Facebook. But you can always ask a question right here. You will love this casserole. I’ve used cream of mushroom and cream of chicken and also mixed them up. Honestly any cream of soup you like will work. I like to mix them. But 1 can will be plenty unless you double recipe. When you watch a video just ask any questions below that. And also know that the recipe is in the description box. Thank you so much for watching. You are gonna love this. Please make sure and update me. Hope you are subscribed!!
I found you last week and enjoyed all your videos! Please share your new house with us soon! Thank you for inspiring me to cook!
