how do you take care of your oura ring?

Since I had the misfortune of ordering the wrong size and needed to exchange it, Oura now refuses to accept a return of a ring that’s not working. In multiple emails they have not asked what the problem is to try to help fix it. 😢 There’s nowhere to leave a review.

Lol, I'm literally in a best buy watching this vid trying to determine if I should buy this as a replacement for a wedding band, and this video is exactly what I was looking for, well done. If you've done a KZread breakdown of your setup, would love to know how you did your lighting and background and camera

I was going to buy one today, but then heard they have a monthly fee. Garmin doesn't. I think I'll wait for the apple ring.

Thank you for the video. I have been thinking about getting an Oura ring. I currently wear an Apple Watch but I hate the wrist feel and can’t really wear it at my work place so this may be a great alternative for me.

I think both are similar in terms of benefits but I also prefer the ring which is more comfortable to wear especially doing workouts :)

I have been wearing mine for over 3 years. I went from the Gen 2 so luckily I got grandfathered into a free lifetime membership, but I would probably pay it anyway. I like it better than whoop and if you look at the cost it's pretty similar over all. I wear a Garmin too so I connect mine to Strava and all my workouts are imported. I love it. Eventually the battery will degrade, but if you contact the company they will monitor it and send you another ring free of charge. Customer service is great. I think the sleep tracking is much better than Garmin, but everything else is pretty similar. I think it's worth every penny and I would highly recommend giving it a try if you're on the fence. I ordered all of mine directly from Oura. And it technically will try to log a run. You can do it with the app, but the ring will automatically measure your heart rate and steps and it knows you were running so it gives you a summary of what it thinks you did. It's not always perfect, but it gets close if youre not tracking it with a proper gps tracker.

I love the sleep tracker from Oura too it has helped me recover from months of no sleep! do you wear it during workouts too?

Tried oura ring. Size 13 too small. Get auto sleep app and u basically get same information as ring. Also Apple Watch does so much more for about same price.

I find that is not accurate in the sleep report, it show you are sleep when you are fully awake but no moving in bed and your HR is low. The algorithm "massage" the data to fit in the recognized sleep patterns ( it is unable to detect brain waves, so it rely on body temp, heart beats per minutes, HRV and algorithm), also I find that my fingers tent to hurt and get inflamed like kind of "arthritis" like symptoms after using the ring for a couple of years... if take a 6 month brake it will get better but the ring will bring back problems. It never happen with Gen 1 or Gen 2 but with Gen 3 is noticeable.

i think compared with other smart rings, Oura has one of the best sleep trackers out there

oh no. what has been your experience?

i could never replace my wedding band with ANYthing. when you say your vows and speak the words to take each other as your spouse, you say "with this ring." what a tragedy, what a shame to ever remove it and replace it with something else. how sad imo.
