Man, the stock exhaust really doesn't do the ZH2 any justice. Now I can't help myself but think about how would the Tuono sound with Brock's on

The air is pumped into the exhaust to start an exotgermic reaction which makes the exhaust gasses hotter which causes the catalytic converter to start working faster (starts working at ~200°C also called the "light off temperature")

Monster drinks are for amateurs. Be an adult and toss some blow in your coffee. I was expecting at least 5 minutes of wide open throttle drive-by "sound tests". Guess you gotta save stuff for the next video lol

The spec sheet and the numbers do not do the H2's justice. The supercharger makes it feel like king Kong underway! Just eats everything. My H2 is set up with SC upper gear and full time system, wooly flash, making 250+ hp to the wheel. Just mind melting! Love it guys! Great job!

the pair valve feeds air directly into the exhaust manifold so that at lower rpm, the catalytic converter gets enough oxygen to get hot enough to handle any remaining unburnt fuel in the exhaust. The reason you block the pair valve when you de-cat an exhaust, is otherwise, too much air gets injected into the exhaust and you will get excessive popping on decel. Most people like popping on decel, until you’ve ridden a de-catted bike where the pair valve is still functional. It’s completely obnoxious.

Same , here along with the Power Commander and taller gearing for more top end.

The H2 would be a hoot and it sounds great. If I was 30 I'd love the noise and at any age I'd love the power. If I was buying a bike for more than short rides though, a naked wouldn't be the way to go. I've had fast (for the day) naked bikes, ... the last being a CB1100F and can tell you that maintaining highways speeds with no shield or fairing isn't comfortable for very long. Now that Hayabusa, ... there's a highway bike!!

It quite literally roars at you like some dragon.

Just got the ZH2 today... and I've got to say, same sentiments on it's speed... it just pulls different. With other bikes, you expect the speed because it's still this "buildup" of speed. But with the ZH2, it's like you're hitting that power band each time. Not AT the power band, but just hitting it when you really put on that gas. Difference is, when you're AT the power band, it feels like the bike is twitchy when you gas, and really feel the engine break when you don't. But here, you just accelerate at a smooth rate, very fast, but still very fun. Granted the stock exhaust is quiet... can't wait to change the exhaust on it.

This bike reminds me so much of my old Z1. No it wasn't stock, had a 1015 kit, big cams, welded crank, 4 into 1, made tons of power up top but was a dog at low speed. The brakes and suspension were pretty sketchy too. But the sound was glorious.

In essence, blocking off the pair valve/SAI system simply makes tuning the bike far simpler due to preventing any anomalies that may occur due to that system. Most work on Reed valves that will only open up on overrun off throttle, however not all.

The zh2 does want to pull your arms off, pulls like a train. It actually pulls like it doesn't want you on it. I miss mine so bad. I bought a 2020 in the usa when there were only 5 in the usa. A friend of mine completely totalled it. 😢 Loved maxing.

On fuel-injected bikes, the PAIR valve typically found on top of the engine, with a couple hoses plugging into the top of the engine near the exhaust ports. A solenoid opens up and on top of the engine you have reed valves that allow air in but not out. The PAIR system really only serves as a way to pass nonsensical emissions tests by mixing fresh air into the exhaust, thus diluting it to make it seem as though the engine is running "cleaner". The reality is that the PAIR system really fccks up your ride: it sounds buzzy when you are idling, it ruins low to mid range throttle response causing it to be twitchy and vague, and it will make tuning the bike properly damn near impossible. You can spend $20 to buy a set of block-off plates for the PAIR system on ebay, a cheap 10K ohm resistor to plug into the wire that normally plugs into the solenoid to keep you from throwing CELs, and some kind of rubber cap to cover the nipple on the air box where the PAIR system connects to. The other option is to drop $400+ on a tuning module that attempts to fix the problems mostly caused by the PAIR system. BTW if you don't use block-off plates on the reed valves you will get condensation build up in hoses that connect to the PAIR valves on the engine.

Pair valve is secondary air injection. It allows fresh air (oxygen) to enter the exhaust stream to burn up any remaining hydrocarbons (fuel). When tuning the bike, you want the pair valve disabled so you don't end up reading a lean condition that doesn't actually exist.

i put a down payment down on a 2021 mt10 like 4 weeks ago im still waiting to pick it up but sometimes i kick myself in the ass for not sticking with another kawi. i do love that crossplane sound though and the price is hard to beat.

READ ME! I was reading the review of the gixxer1000 back in the day, 2005....the wonderful K5. Can't remember which publication it was but the guy said, " just keep 'er in 3rd gear, she's perfectly happy from 30 mph to 130 all day long". Will never forget that quote because this beast exemplifies that. Probably more like 30-150 in 3rd on that thing. And it's not even flashed yet!!! By this writing, I think Bren tuning/Brock's has the ecu conquered. The WHP Brock is showing with his flashed Zh2 beast are f ing amazing!
