The success he has is always related to how nice of a bloke he is, his drive to win at everything he gets behind the wheel of, and the amazing team he builds around him. A ship this big didn't come to be all by one person alone, but the guidance of our boy Cleeter is how it was steered to victory. I am sure the new Fox Body will do great things as well. That car is a bonafide ripper.

I'm so happy that Sam is competing. This is gonna be the best drag and drive content yet. It's hard to beat Brent riding shotgun in Leroy, but James blasting gears with a Lenko AND Sam with the blown Tahoe... we all know Mullet is gonna do great, she's purpose-built. FIRE ME UP!

Looks like there's just so much going on in there. I'm sure he'll get the trans figured out but trying to learn that while also monitoring the vitals and trying to keep an untested custom chassis going straight is a lot to deal with all at once. You should be shifting right to left, not left to right. You have it reversed. You need to set it up with the long shifter is the first pull and then work your way down to the left and the smaller pulls. It will also be easier to grab gears.

Couldn’t be happier for the McFarland racing team! Everyone of you guy’s killed it. Only thing I suggest is building a car with the 6.6gas Chevy motor next. Then you can compare it to the 7.3 ford and see what motor can hold up to you guys. Just a thought and could be good content for the UTE. Good luck this week boys!

I don't know if the majority of viewers understand the credit the build team and that tuning crew from Haltech truly deserve for a first showing like that. Especially in years done by, it is inconceivable that you'd build a car from scratch, configure and tune it in hypothetical, sterile, test conditions, and then actually roll down the road A to B on the first go around. What an amazing effort by all involved. This is some of the most impressive hot rodding we're likely to see for a long time.

Had the biggest smile on my face all the way through this video. smashing it boys, well done!

Not sure with the Bruno, but you should be able to downshift the Lenco. The one-way sprag will let the output spin faster than the engine till the RPM's match. Can't wait to see more videos!

@SJ690 I've been going to Meremere dragway for a couple decades. We need more fans and cheaper cars to race. So hard to get into the sport now.
