He has completed his race and he ran well, generations of youth in this nation were ministered to by him, some maybe for the first time, others for the only time, but his music permeated the youth groups in our churches. I wonder if he is experiencing Ray Bolts song Thank You. Heaven only knows how many people came to Christ as a result of his ministry throughout the world.

@@bettycogswell9851 The wonderful thing about our God is that He is the God of the broken. He meets us where we are, often when we hit rock bottom. He takes our broken pieces and makes us whole, and sends us out to carry out His will here on earth, feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, healing the sick, making the lame to walk and raising the dead. Carman understood this, and had a fire that burned inside him to see God's kingdom manifest here on earth. You know he was doing damage to the principalities of evil by the number of darts the devil had thrown at him over the years. I am really curious though how testimony night is now that he is there with Lazarus.

IN 1984 or so, before he was a star, Carman performed as an opener at an event where David Wilkerson came on to Preach. "Thank you Carman, that was wonderful. I feel the Spirit of the living God upon you son, it's just like the feeling I got from Keith Green. It's a rare quality and walk to have, and I encourage you to keep walking in the light." --- David Wilkerson opening remarks after Carman played.

This video is so much like my own experience as a high school junior. In the fall of 1971 at the height of the Jesus movement I gave my heart to Jesus. I lived on the east coast of Va. in Newport News and I went to Warwick High school. The school principle sponsored a Bible club that met every morning before class.( He was a Christian too) Those early years were so important in my walk with God and I will never forget them. I thank God He has never let me go thru all these years!!!

It's funny looking back at these young teens, and then realize I was in high school when I first heard this song. So these "teens" are now old like me lol I miss Carman. As a teen, I went with our church's youth group to his R.I.O.T. concert, the stadium was sold out. We were so high up, it was hard to see. Glad they had big screen to view. Then, a few years back, I heard about his "No Plan B" tour would be at a local church! For $25 I got a second row seat. $100 would've got a front row seat and a chance to meet Carman after the concert. Now I wish I spent the extra money. I am glad to have seen him again one last time. His music has kept me strong my whole life.

@@ritchievernon8099 When I was a teenager, I had a radio show with my (then) boyfriend. We played Carman every single week, and even world premiered one of his albums! I was, and am still, a lover of his music. Petra and Resurrection Band were also big time then, and much requested. We went to their concerts every time they came around, and brought White Heart back to the studio to interview them after the concert. Funny thing was, one of them was from the same tiny town in Michigan that I was from! He asked me where & when I lived there, and when I told him, he turned red. He said he used to ride his motorcycle through our garden then!! He said he'd always wanted to apologize to the owner of the house, but when he went back, the house was gone. I called my parents and let them talk to him. My dad told him a few nights he waited up for him with his gun waiting to drive through the garden again!! Thank God he didn't come those nights!! LOL

I am here. I am immensely grieving. Carman was the Jehu of the 90s. Carman loved Jesus. He was not ashamed of Jesus or the Gospel. He lived the Gospel before us. There was no embarrassing scandal in his life. He triumphantly lived for Christ and he died victoriously in Christ. God gave Carman this wonderful platform before social media to Express the love of Jesus. Carman Licciardello, I salute you! I cannot wait to meet you in heaven. You were the Standard as to how to live for Jesus Christ. I miss you and love you with the unadulterated Agape love of Christ!!!

I think God really put it on his heart to help raise a future generation of leaders of both the church, and the nation. From helping other artists come up like DC Talk, (Toby Mac), to his music videos that were clearly aimed at youth. His ministry heavily influenced the generation that will be coming into power in this nation over the next several election cycles, and it is our turn now. It is time we bring God into our decisions in America again.

This was when both Carman and Petra were on top of the game. Constantly encouraging people to give their life to Christ and punching the devil in the face. I am an AV tech and have done a lot of secular concerts (want to work a Christian concert like Skillet or something) but I was working a secular concert one time and I remember thinking man they are talking about a whole lot of nothing and I remember back to every Christian concert I went to whether it was Carman, Petra, Whitecross or Dc talk and I remember leaving those concerts feeling like I could take on the world. That still happens when I go to Christian concerts with people like Lecrae, Skillet and Disciple. I'll never forget that feeling and I love it!!!

I cry every time I hear this video. C-Man, (the Christ Man), the prophet, is giving his all in this song. The Church is the body of believers in God and His Christ. Our boast is in our God and our power is in our acknowledgement and in our testimony that Jesus alone is LORD and love is what He wants - Romans 1:16. Love starts with loving God; therefore the one who hears but denies that Jesus is God, (TRUTH and LOVE in flesh) denies Father God, (TRUTH and LOVE who is Spirit, the Great Creator of heaven and earth and all that is in them), therefore revealing just another Anti-Christ. The Church must NEVER submit to anti-Christ but must learn to stand up and reveal God and His Christ to all. Our boast is not in ourselves but is in our God - Jeremiah 9:23-24 and 1 Corinthians 1:31. Let no anti-Christ stand in your way! Let no anti-Christ put up any barrier to our message! Tear down and trample under foot every false idea (every demon) which rises to battle against our testimony. Join the LORD on the battlefield; go into training in the proper use of the Sword of TRUTH; and STAND UP AND FIGHT for our KING! God bless ya C-Man. Remember this: There are many of us out here who know that it is God who sent you to us and your labors have not gone unnoticed - Matthew 25:21.

Cool song...and spoke to my heart. Here is the Latinos doing the song... (1087) The Party's Over - KZread. I would love to hear you do your own mix. Anyways...as i get older older I find myself leaning toward Hymnals and praise. I am please to see you also have gravitate that direction as well. Praise the LORD!!! But, there are moments when I just gotta rock! What better way to get my fix than to dust off the CD's and cassettes...and yup I do have Carman, "Some o' Dat" on Cassette!!!! Anyway, just wanted to pop on and say hello and God bless you my brother.

Carman is right on this one. When they took prayer out of our schools then we'd all seen all kinds of evil thrust on our children of today. We need Jesus more than ever today.😊😊😊😊

The problem in 1962 was that the nation was dependent on government schools. The court actually had a point - government schools were establishing a religion. This is why the Catholic church built their own school system when government schools were first established - the established religion in those schools avoided favoring a particular denomination, but was definitely Protestant. Today, what if Hindu prayers were the norm? You *shouldn't* have to worry about Islam - because that is a hostile government (for the majority Sunni and Shiite sects) as well as a religion, and therefore unconstitutional. But surprise, surprise, we *do* have Islamic prayer in government schools. Go figure. The problem is government schools, not that prayer was taken out of government schools. When you home school, or choose a private school - perhaps run by your church like the Catholics - then prayer in school is not an issue. Support scholarships for the private school of your choice. Support and pray for HSLDA (hslda.org/content/) who worked to make home school in some form legal in all 50 states. Government schools are not safe for your children. I'm not talking about "mass shootings" (which kill 25/yr - insignificant compared with other risks of death). I'm talking about the federal governments 2012 report that 9 out of 100 government school students were molested by teachers or staff. Compare that to most scathing estimates of Catholic priests molesting boys: 1 in 100 boys. The Bible clearly teaches that *parents*, not government, are responsible for teaching their children. Any outside institution is "in loco parentis" - in the place of parents. Do NOT blindly let your children drift into government schools "to be like other families". If you are too poor for private school, or even for one parent to stay home - do not be too proud to ask for help. If you send them as missionaries to the heathen in government schools, make sure they are fully prepared first, and know how to defend themselves from predators - both staff and fellow students. Make sure they are grounded in a living personal relationship with Christ. They cannot believe everything from their teachers. Teach them to go "ad fontes". To Christ, yes, but also to war journals, ancient histories, ancient court documents - in the original language where possible. This is why they should study Latin, Hebrew, and Greek - which was the norm for high school education prior to government schools. Today, I would add a thorough understanding of Relativity (the theory in Physics). So much intellectual (and theological) crap is based on the silly 19th century idea of a "clockwork universe" - that there is a single linear timeline to which not only the entire universe, but God Himself is bound. Einstein proved that even in this universe, there is no absolute order of events, and no absolute time. The early 20th century understood how revolutionary that was to clockwork thinking - look at the intro to "As Time Goes By". The ancient thinkers had no clue about Relativity, but certainly realized that just as time in a story does not constrain the author, so time in His Story does not constrain our Author. Now most people have forgotten that and are back to clockwork arguments.

The problem with government school was and still remains that prayer was taken out of school, that God was removed from the equation in the place it had been put in the USA, which is from the standpoint of Christ. I lived during those times, and I saw firsthand the effects of the removal of prayer, both from having gone to private school and then government, and through the generations that followed me. Don't let the devil fool you with this issue; it is a black and white situation. All these others things you are recommending that involve children from saved families venturing into government do absolutely nothing for those other children whom Jesus shed his blood for caught up in this accomplishment by Satan to make this removal of prayer an institutionalized rational consequence. What Carman speaks about in this video is spot on.

I agree with him below....this makes me cry, my stand and I paid so much money to keep our daughter in Christians schools. Eventually 9th grade we had to put her in public schools....but because of her foundation she excelled. Didn't go down the wrong path. it's our time now!

I agree on that cause if we don't stand up on what we believe then our testimony of what the Lord did for us won't come out cause the enemy tries to keep us quiet but I think we've Been quiet long enough to tell others about our King Jesus 😀

I've been through the same and for experience we must be aware we can't be on a bubble all the time. We need to be a light outside our Christian schools. Even though a godly based is utterly important in the childhood times.

Agreed! Carman knew then and what is happening now. Yet as long as Christians are divided and not praying is when Satan wins by division and betrayal. The evidence is all too apparent.
