To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. kzread.infoUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

I’m dumbfounded how easy it is to take them out of the charger now. I was one of the ones who struggled trying to pinch those suckers and get them out. There were a couple other tips I got from this. Thanks!

You can also change from noise cancelling to transparency mode by holding the pressure sensor until it chimes.

It’s crazy how fast they charge and how long they last without battery I can literally last almost 2-3 days before it runs out of battery I love these upgrade from the regular AirPods for sure

I picked mine up this afternoon and they’re great! Super comfy! The one fault for me personally is that the noise cancellation makes me a little dizzy if I just take one AirPod out to talk to someone and the music in the other ear momentarily keeps playing. Weird, but that’s a fault with my inner ear I guess and not the product.

Mine are being delivered on February 5th. I honestly can't wait. I'm obsessed with them. Partially because AirPods 2 have to be adjusted in my ear every 30 seconds.

Can you adjust the volume with the airpods pro? Without using your phone. I know he mentioned you can change the feature between transparency and noise canceling. But not sure about the volume.

I also noticed that there is another way to check the battery level. If you tap the button on the back of the case once, it will activate the LED light and you can check your battery level. This way, you don't have to constantly open the case.

Nice job. Ordered mine off the strength of your good review, figuring that if I didn't really like them, my daughter would be glad to take them off my hands. Looks like she'll have to get her own. Noise cancellation is great. And thanks for the simple ( yet I never knew it) tip about taking them out of the case. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for the great tips especially getting them out of the case.

I tried mine out in a crowded pub at lunchtime today. Brilliant ANC, and a long press on the right stem enabled me seamlessly to make my food and drink orders. Although, with the AirPods Pro wirelessly charging right next to me, I asked Siri on my iPhone what the battery status was, and she hadn't got a clue.

Really useful. I've only had my Pros for a couple of days. I've saved it for future reference! Thank you!

People don’t really have a say on wether or not they have the sponsor at the start, middle or end. The sponsor itself tells them when to put it

Does using live listen save AirPod battery power? One of the reasons I haven’t used my AirPods Pro for conference calls like I used to with my OG AirPods is the battery degradation that happened over a year of constantly using them for phone calls. If this fixed the crazy battery drain while enabling me to listen to audio through my AirPods Pro, I’d be crazy happy.

This was so good I had to subscribe!

For resetting the AirPods, you don’t actually need to forget them from Bluetooth. Just by holding the button on the case while the airpods are inside the case, the light will turn white and will start blinking and there will be connect option on your screen. After pressing ‘connect’ your airpods will reset.

I love the trick to easily remove the AirPod Pros out of the case. THANK YOU!

Regarding the noise cancellation of the AirPods Pro. I understand it prevents noise from getting into my ear when I listen to music on a windy day. But what’s with calling? The old AirPods used to pick up lots of wind and the person on the other end had trouble understanding me. Is this noise cancelled too?

Why doesn’t the case LED just stay lit when wirelessly charging? You know? Maybe Apple can change with a firmware update etc
