I think fading Stroud is a mistake(unless you’re waiting for him to drop in drafts, which is reasonable) maybe it’s just due to fading prices of Texans receivers if people think the prices are too steep. You have the Texans playing 11 of 16 fantasy season games in a DOME. They avoid wintry weather opponents late in the season aside from KC and their defense in week 16. GB, NYJ and NE away games are done before Halloween. They have Miami and Baltimore at home in weeks 15 and 17, the playoff schedule could be worse, and game scripts always can depart from expected.

It’s strange to me to see so many people into a guy with Pacheco’s profile. Is this not the classic “paying for projectable volume” play that is almost always faded by you guys? I know his workload was great down the stretch and he has no competition, but it seems like the ceiling is probably not all that high, and his pass catching work is especially fragile to be usurped. Just seems odd to be so in on that profile at 4/5 turn cost in this RB market. He’s a guy I’ll sprinkle in when I can get value, but not an actual target at all for me. I think Mixon is just a flat out better bet and he goes over a full round later

at this point in their careers pacheco is probably a better rusher than mixon on arguably the best offense in the league with less injury concern and probably less competition. Don't hate the strategy though I believe Mixon can be great as well but the prices are justified.

ya, the question is do you want 20% mixon and 0% pacheco...one slightly cheaper but doesnt mean u want exposures tilted that heavily

@@C-H23 I think the bell cow role in HOU>KC. KC is consistently high in pass rate over expected, and Andy Reid is always drawing up gadget plays in the red zone that take some of the highest value touches away from the RB. Even if you project an uptick in pass rate for year 2 of stroud (plenty fair) I think Mixon has a 300 touch season, or he could sun run for a 15+TD season pretty reasonably. I think either of those is much less likely for Pacheco. Price agnostic, I think they are reasonably close, but if they were the same cost, I’d probably lean 60/40 Mixon in my portfolio. But one is a 4/5 turn guy going ahead of elite TE’s and QB’s, the other goes over a full round later after there is a clear drop off in quality at the other positions.

@@ShipChasing Definitely wouldn’t suggest getting 20% on Mixon, or basically any RB in the first 6-7 rounds, since my usual structure dictates only taking 1 or 2 RB’s early at most (and I’ve been hammering Achane/Kyren in the 3rd). I’ll be around the field or maybe a tad above on Mixon. Not full fading Pacheco, I’ve mixed in a share or two when he’s fallen to the mid 5th, but I’ll probably only land at 2-3%.
