In this video of Living the Jo life, we explore Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia! We take you on a journey through some of the top attractions and experiences that this fascinating city has to offer. First, we explore the stunning Diriyah Historical Village, where we immerse ourselves in the rich culture and history of Saudi Arabia. We also enjoy a delicious Arabic dinner at a local restaurant, savoring the traditional flavors and hospitality of the region. After dinner, we head to the bustling Boulevard City and enjoy a fun-filled night of entertainment.
The following day, we enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views from the Sky Bridge in the Kingdom Tower, before checking out the fascinating Line Exhibition, displaying the plans for the immense building projects of NEOM in northwestern Saudi Arabia. After a scrumptious lunch at the Zone, our adventure continues as we visit the majestic Marabba Palace, a true gem of Saudi architecture and design. We also take a stroll through the vibrant Souks, soaking up the sights, sounds, and scents of these colorful marketplaces surrounded by the magnificent Al Masmak Fortress, historic squares, and the largest mosque in Riyadh.

They didnt show this country in a beatiful way. Your Country is messed up. You are lickin the feets of the USA and Europe. Driving to a westernized lifestyle. Niqab but stil no haya. Music in public and the streets. and Gender mixing. And all of that in the country so called "Land of Tawhid". Trust me young Muslims 13-40 in the Western World (Germany, UK, USA, France ...) Are different than most muslims in so called islamic countries (Maghreb, Tunis, Saudi, Turkey ....) We hate the west here, and we tryna find a way to change the west and life properly. But u guys having a country with majority muslim population really run after western norms. I was in Maghreb, Turkey and egypt. Never have i seen to the daily fardh prayers (except jumu3a) many youths in the masjid. But here in the west its to total opposite. In Arab countries Parents force their kid to wear hijab or niqab and the youth hate it. But here the young sisters wanna wear jilbab or niqab but the (MUSLIM) parents fight against it and try to take it off from them. Itaqillah ya muslimeen from the muslim world Maghreb to Indonesia !!!

At the 3:57 mark, the gracious Saudi woman eloquently expresses her warm welcome in a poetic way by saying: "Blessings have come to us. You have honored and illuminated us with your visit. Welcome, and hello." This is merely one of the numerous ways to extend a heartfelt greeting in Arabic. ;-)

Great vlog as usual. I love you guys!! Regarding Ella’s question about the men Abaya, there are two types 1- Mishlah ( it is a a cloth similar to Abaya with golden edges that men wear in a very official festival like weddings or that vip people wear like the royal family or business men) 2- Farwa ( a thick cloth that is used in winter to make us warm, it is usually made of wool or any material that prevents cold weather)

That’s a wholesome video from a lovely family. Thank you so much. I really enjoyed it. I could tell that you trip was well-planned. Good job! Just a few things: - I’d go to the Kingdom Tower to see the city during the night instead of the day. It looks way different and more magical with all lights from the city towers. - In Murabba area, you missed to visit the National Museum. It’s really incredible. - Basta at Tahlia st, is a lively place where it’s both walkable and local. It’s neither traditional or futuristic, but rather contemporary. The street is even more beautiful during the night in weekends. Historically, it was the place where young people used to go before Riyadh had become what it’s now. - Although it’s not that touristy, KAFD is such a vibe to hang around.

I would never have known a place like that existed until I was just taken there. I just got to see what could be seen in two days.
