Do you have a septic system like this? Hate it or Love it? I hear they can smell if they are not take care of properly. What do you think?

The installer ordered it, but based on the markings I am pretty sure it came from Buchanan Septic Tanks.

Why couldn’t you do a drip system? When you say drop you mean for the leech field? How many spray heads?

They would not allow a leach field where I am because of the water movement underground close to the surface. If I wanted a leach field I would have had to do a pump setup also and the leach field alone would have been what this whole system costed or more. The black clay we have and the new county laws put in recently are pushing everyone to these type of systems. This one has 2 spray heads a few hundred feet away from us in the pasture.

Who did your job amazing i got .39 acre my lot is only 150. X90 but my barndo that im going to built is 1900 sq ft i dont think drain field can fit in that

Yeah, I bet a drain field would use up any yard you had left. These do require spray heads though that need to be a distance away from neighbors and other items.

What size is the tank

It's 750 gallons.

We're in northwest arkansas and no one is installing these and I feel they should. 2000 sq ft house using anerobic is around 7 k. 30 k for aerobic why would they charge that much more? Is material cost double going aerobic?

It's not much more on cost of the materials. I would say it's less. I would have preferred an all underground anaerobic septic, but the clay and lake near would not allow it.

Withe the design, permits and system installed it was about $12,500.

With the animals, it kind of already does. I just hope not from the septic. Will see.
