This has got to be one of the best ways to get (non-violinists) people to watch the Menuhin competition. It's the first time I'm (planning on) watching a competition in full (and it's not even for an instrument I play)! It's also a good reminder I should practice (also so I can ask my teacher if I can have a lesson on the church organ she plays instead of taking lessons on my own keyboard/piano like I usually do)

Im really glad that even though Chloe is a prodigy, her parents allow her to film with twoset and have fun and be a little "unprofessional". I think it is a myth that every Asian prodigy has some parents that are "beating" them to practice. If you don't have a genuine love of what you are doing you might get quite good but you will not make it this far. I think I even read somewhere that she loves also skateboarding.

Chloe will be better off when her life isn't dictated by her mother. How can Chloe enjoy her teenage years when she's constantly playing violin? Chloe has no idea how to let loose and have fun. Poor girl. Chloe has even said herself that she hates the fact she can't fun like teenage girls her own age because she's constantly traveling playing professional concerts. Sadly Chloe doesn't have a social life.
