Our reaction to Steven Tyler at American Idol: Dream on
Музыка
How has this vocal mutant been able to produce these sounds for decades? And how is he doing in this performance?

Hi. You can, along with your friend comment on the features of the performance of Dimash on this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ap9lo6qGqNSTYMo.html Although she is an amateur, but it clearly shows the work of the vocal apparatus. Thank.

Can you react to Helloween and "a tale that wansn't right"? Michael Kiske was 51 years the last time he sang that song... And I think he is good. He moves the voice from Baryton to sopran and I cry when he sings it..
I have 2 things to say 1. Marry me! 2. On a more serious note... are you aware Steven wrote this in 1965?? When he was 17 years old. Amazing song, amazing performer
You can't teach Steven Tyler's techniques...you just can't.
Steve is a legend!!! No one would dare do what he has been doing for decades...
The screamin demon. Realize, he's in his 70's....amazing.
He's 72 now and still screaming no one can stop him
Iam not sure how i feel about a voice teacher scrutinizing one of the most iconic singer song writers of all time.

On the contrary, they are saying his techniques are not teachable because it's unique to only him. If WE will try this, our vocal cords will literally rip

I know how I feel. A bitter, unsuccessful failure of a singer critiquing a legend. KZread seems to be full of voicw teachers. Obviously, the criteria to being one isn't much. If I remember corectly, the big one on the left also criticized Floor. I think she's just a bitter failure.
He has a 4 octave range up to E4 and can still hit and sustain it. He is literally amazing.

Tom Jones is in his 80's and still has a F1-D6 range and his voice is a mile better than Steven's. I like Steven very much and he's an exceptional singer, but not that exceptional.

We'r talking about a true living legend aged 71, just to say... (Here was 65)
Steve Tyler quite the unique entertainer, with all the things he done. for sure a different talent.
There is nothing like a Steven Tyler Scream! Gives me chills every time! Love that man!
Such visions of loveliness, the both of you. Nani’s smile lights up the room every time. I hope you keep doing these for a long time!
He claims his higher range is actually easier to sing in than his lower range... I'm assuming he's just a master of compression.
Give Steven Tyler a call and maybe he'll give y'all some lessons on singing that moves people.
Hmmmmm.......Rock Star Mutant.....well, if that’s how we categorize rock star greatness then I’m ok with that.
hes done this song repeatedly since the 70s. This is like walking up the stairs for him.
That "yeah" in the beginning, if you listen to the studio version it was him taking a deep breath before singing.. The treadle organ he wrote this on went up for sale recently …
I remember buying this 8-track, yes 8-track, back in high school in 1973. This song still resonates with me as much now as it did back in high school.

Ha. I did a paper on the lyrics of this in high school. And I agree. Phenomenal tune.
he had the vocal cord surgery in 2006-7. His cords are just fine, that’s just his natural sound.
There may be many reasons. why amplifying the mic near a piano is difficult , because you only want the vocal coming through and less amount of the piano coming in. You already have a microphone for the piano. When your away from the instruments, you can go all out on the gains and highs, mids and lows. I think they should have discussed about it before the performance and try to play with the eq's if your near an instrument, so you can only increase the vocal without increasing the gain.
Another great video, great job Linor big hug from Portugal.
You 2 are great thanks for another video =)
I love your react video, Linor. And I love when you are with Nani! Steven Tyler are indeed a Mutant... doing this for decades and sometimes with drugs, drinks and more drugs. He is a amazing artist!
Love Steven Tyler--and this song. Its all positive since he wrote it.
I love this video! To the people criticizing her...she is well qualified to scrutinize Steven...as a vocal coach, thats what she does!

React to frontman Axl Rose in guns n roses. That is a unique voice and very talented singer. The way he can scream and stop and control his screams and also run on stage and never break his vocals is amazing. Especially in welcome to the jungle or knocking on heavens door live in tokoyo 1992. Please react to these.

Especially his 6 octave range(;
You need to check out Carrie Underwood and Steven Tyler singing live to Carrie's new single, Undo It--together they brought down the house!
He reaches E6 on Crazy. Did it live on the streets of Venice with street musicians.
Oh boy this guy....saw them earlier in their career. He’s unbelievable, period. There’s a documentary on the making of the Album Pump- it’ll give you more insight into Steven Tyler and the whole band and his natural way of writing songs with his band mates. Check that out some time.....it’s really good stuff.
Oh yes old school rockin it, Steven surly commands the stage...not everything can be perfect, but you always have to be the perfect you...good vid...
Next mutant : Lemmy Kilmister (Motörhead) 😎
he was on a tv show wear they actually looked at his vocal chords while he was singing and they all agreed he has unique or "mutated" vocal chords.
2 nobody's having a go at one of the most iconic songs and voice in history, yeah ok 🤣
Great review of the song Steven Tyler is amazing vocalist and definitely a mutant. Steven Tyler is 2 years younger than my dad Steven Tyler is 71 but when doing that performances he is 63 that is insane to be able to sing like that at 63. You should check out MIke Patton from Faith No More specifically Midlife Crisis the live version from Jay Leno's tonight show. He is definitely a very dynamic singer.
AC DC thunderstruck....you gotta do that mutant....🥰
This song, when Steven is singing it, is quite unique. He wrote this song in his late teens, but it is written from the perspective of an older and very retrospective man. I feel like as he has aged he has understood the character in the song more and more. As time has gone by he has just really become very synchronised (maybe not the right word) with the song, and he really knows how to deliver the song in an authentic style.
Hi ladies great reaction to a great song band artist that is Steven and zero smith
Nani is so beautiful omg
Great rock singer.
Great reaction love you

Correction, well done Steven Tyler...
that was 8 years ago, he was 63.
FYI Steven was not 100 % when this aired we all have days when we feel sick! But the show must go on!
He is still amazing.
Every artists best vocals are in the studio. Steven is like 70 years old now? Yall gotta listen to the original version. His voice sounds much better back then. In this particular performance hes performing at an old age. Everyones voice changes the older they get
Quero ver um vídeo de vcs duas cantando daqui uns 30 anos blz?
Axl Rose from Guns n Roses is another vocal mutant. His voice isn't what it was in the 80s/early 90s, but he had a very large vocal range and unique sound. "Mr. Brownstone" or "Rocket Queen" are good examples of his early vocal skills if you can find a live performance.
LOVE you Linor ♥️
I love the "HOW" lol
could you watch knockin on heavens door on the ritz? please watch that Axl :/
Linor, you still need to review of Roger Taylor from Queen sometime. Please.
Steven Tyler is a GOD!!!!
Steven Tyler just lays it all out there. Using any microphone requires practice- the biggest mistake I see is people moving back and forth with the mike-- He holds it very steady as he sings into it. And Yes he is so damn sexy!
That’s a natural scream lol
Love your videos always. Linor oren if you in town someday I would like to take you to dinner. #imserious #honored.
He has 2 sets of vocals cordes that's why Dr Ozz did test live on TV to check his vocal cordes why when you think he reached his pitches he can go higher and higher go watch the show its very good plus its a mixte voice his notes at the end.
The demon of screaming!!!
That was fun! It would be very interesting to also see what you think of Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora battling it out over Wanted Dead or Alive at the MTV Video Music Awards in 1989
Scream singing 👍👌
how about them and run dmc walk this way?
...>_< stoped back in the 60s 70s went to Grateful dead lol... yes I was a deadhead ...last saw them in Monterey, his last show. nice to hear again. Deadhead and Opera... some combo lol :)
You two are funny and fun. Thanks Please do Earth Wind and Fire Phillip Bailey Speaking of vocal mutants. Still doing falsetto after 4 decades
dimash kudaibergen " love is like a dream " & "unforgettable day " at gakku concert.....please reacts with NOAM.....
I thought everyone knew, you only have to take an auditory inhale 1:17 and then anyone can do his high note without damage. j/k, he is a mutant for sure
It has been stated that Steven Tyler once hit an E6 in whistle in the song, "Crazy." I would like to know if that has ever been verified?

Next vocal mutant to react to - Rob Halford, doesn't quite have his full four octaves anymore but he is definitely possessed of an amazing voice.
Hi Linor ;) and friends, I have gotten to hear ST since I lived in Boston for many years... he is a grandpa and sounds great to me hahaha !
EXACTLY HOW? Falsetto? I never liked this word because all that matters is;;being loud and in tune all the time. I have been singing for 30 years and I am old. At the time of this amer idol Steven was 67. I think they recorded Dream on when he around 26.Thank you for notting same KEY that's what makes it truly amazing.

If you listen to the original studio version of Dream on on a good quality vinyl, you can clearly hear the breath he takes just before he sings the lyric: "The past is gone". Modern digital music and filters have been removing things from music for years and then told people that the result is 'better' or 'cleaner'. Of course, how would we know if it isn't there? S. Tyler has probably been singing it that way for years, but only those of us who still have a few analog recordings know/remember what it sounded like.
You girls, are smitten - I see it on your faces/ attitude :)
Liv Tyler Steven Tyler's daughter one said that our father Barrow's all her face creams and uses them. They are very close. So he's in his seventies. Anyway it was wonderful listening to your reaction and I am new to your Channel. I wish you all the very best Linor, with respect, Brant 😊

Hi once again guys, Steven Tyler actually injured his vocal cords when he was in a fight screaming at somebody. It never happened with his normal singing. I just thought you'd both like to know that. I really do love your reactions Eleanor your friend as a great dimension to the reactions as well I wish you both all the blessings of life and thank you for making reactions fun. I send a hug to you both 😊😊

Oh, you have so many metal singers to check ...
Love you linor oren
Hi Linor, I would like to see your reaction to PostModern Jukebox version of this song. Thanks and keep up the great videos.
He may have no wrinkles because he is part Cherokee. Also, his range goes to A4. He's amazing.

@Niko Ringkauf Not now. Maybe in the 80s. In the 70s he couldn't do the screams. Now he is 73 he can still hit A4 but not any higher. He lost the highest stuff from age and the chord reconstruction when he had the chord bleeding issues.
Critique all you want Steven Tyler is a rock god!
This is a very truncated performance, look up the one with the full orchestra … He is so subtle ..
You want to hear an amazing vocalist? Check out the Boston song more than a feeling if you haven't heard it. Brad delp will blow you away
Surgery was because of a fight he got into. Not because of singing.
my love for you .... the music of course, could you analyze? thank you...Johnny mathis
If you do a vocal mutant series, check out Sammy Hagar in recent live videos. He’s in his 70’s also and still sounds amazing.
I guess someone already said this but anyways his broken vessel had nothing to do with his singing. It happened during a argument with someone.
I love watching you two gush over these great singers. My favorite classic rock singer: Paul Rodgers. He's been playing for over 50 years too, and you can tell he knows how to take care of himself. Check out this video of him just two years ago: kzread.info/dash/bejne/g3lpqKZuZMi6hdY.html. There are better one's that feature his vocals more but this might be the most recent performance on youTube.
Liner....I love music as you do. Please listen to Kodi Lee. Golden buzzer. So beautiful how music can touch others. You will not regret it. Make sure you listen to the questions in the beginning. It’s important to appreciate ....why it’s special. Watch with your friend. I want to see if it touches you both. I hope you have not watched it yet
Ray Charles please.❤ Georgia on my mind?
Steven said if theres something wrong that dont let you sing like you should .. get it fixed! there are ways.. you ladies may have done better to watch the video of the drs on stevens vocals
You can add Axl Rose to your list of mutants.
I believe he uses the Bel Canto technique to help. He hurt his voice actually yelling during an argument, and not singing like that.
