the mission was to create a choreo for jessi's song "cold-blooded" and ygx(the first crew shown of the vid&the center of the chorus) won the mission. :') although ygx won the mission, jessi decided to let all the crew join her music video...dang this just screams "women power"

This was SUCH a power move. Jessi only appearing in the end, I mean. She gave such a huge space for the dancers to shine while having the confidence that appearing only at the end of the MV would be more than enough. That's some boss bitch energy right there. Chills, man. Literal chills.

fun fact: Jessi didn't want to appear in the MV at all since Street Woman Fighter (SWF) is all about letting dancers who are usually overshadowed by the artists have the spotlight on them for once.

SWF stands for street woman fighter! It’s basically a show which showcases the talent of backup dancers and dance groups so like for example how yg has their backup dancers named ygx they appear as a team for a competition and so do other groups, competing for the title of best crew for street woman fighter. The host is kang daniel and there are 3 judges who judge their skills and choose winners when doing battles and the judges actually include taeyoung from NCT😊 and BOA!!! The crews competing for this were WANT, YGX, Lachica, Wayb, cocaNButter, PROWDOWN, HOOK, and Holyband (all crews that have choreographed for soloists like chungha and jessi and groups like itzy or been backup dancers for blackpink, kai, and many many many more..) For this specific song they were told that they had to choreograph jessi’s new song and the crew that jessi and psy chose would win. Here, ygx won seeing as the chorus of the song was their choreography and that’s that😊

Crooked Letter is referring to the S's in JESSI. It's something that came from Mississippi. So it's an American thing. It was to help southern children spell the state's name. The song went: M . I . Crooked Letter . Crooked Letter . I . Crooked Letter . Crooked Letter . I . Humpback . Humpback . I The word Humpback, refers to the P's. If anyone every watched the old TV show Good Times, there's a couple references in there as well.

Literally how I learned to spell Mississippi when I was in elementary school in Tennessee lol I’ll never forget that song and the one they used to teach us how to spell Tennessee. So SWF stands for Street Women Fighter and it’s a dance crew survival show, where they compete to be the best crew. Their challenge was to create a choreo for this song and whoever won would have their choreo as the main choreo for this song (I may be wrong, they may just have won the challenge), but each crew that you saw showed parts of the choreo that they made. The crews you saw in order were: 1. YGX 2. HOOK 3. LACHICA 4. HolyBang 5. PROWDMON 6. CocaNButter There were also two other crews that were in the show as well which were WAYB (a person that’s famous on that crew is Noze (that girl that went viral during Kai’s solo debut)) and WANT (Iz*one’s Chaeyeon participated in that crew), though both crews have unfortunately been eliminated. The show doesn’t end until the 30th if I’m not mistaken. You should go ahead and watch the show before it ends!!!❤️‍🔥

The dancers are from "Street Woman Fighter" it's HUGE in korea and even J-hope is watching it. It's a survival show and these groups are the best female dancers in Korea. They choreograph for kpop groups, solo artists etc. So Jessi went on the show for one of their missions and their mission was to create a choreography to this song. And whoever's choreo Jessi chooses, that choreo gets to be the official choreo to this song. So the group YGX (first group shown) won for this. Their choreo was used.
