I was literally yelling "no, no, no" when I thought you were going to go eat at Boston Market. You got me!

And what’s wrong with Boston Market? It’s been a while since eating there but they had decent meatloaf (got his autograph! LOL!) I’m originally from the Boston area and actually enjoyed your visit as you walked the Freedom trail and visited Faneuil Hall or Boston Market Place…. Too bad you didn’t explore the suburbs, it’d been awesome if you visited Newton my home town…. Great video as usual
Being from UK I was like “Oh Boston Market, that makes sense” - I legit thought it was a famous place in Boston…

@@mackenziepollock7272 i think all Americans know Paul Revere. But you should know that most British people couldn’t care less...and we definitely don’t know who he is. No offence - but that whole war of independence is basically ignored in British schools... Much like world history is ignored in the US?
I like how you two cancelled Britain to go throw tea into the Boston Harbor instead. :)
Boston Market has the best meatloaf, and Mac and cheese , thanks guy for traveling 💜🎄💜🎄🥂
Great as always guys 😀👍🇬🇧
Omg too funny you guys didn't know cribbage. Hopefully you can take the time one day to learn, it's a great game.
Glad your ok Eric, can still hear that you're a lil stuffed up , get your shots and enjoy the world , Cheers from Canada, and i love Boston , next go to Salem , get your scare on ,
I would love the opportunity to teach you guys cribbage. And just so you know, that boards is a 3 person board. Cribbage is normally played with 2 people.

Loved this video! Spent seven of my young adult years in Cambridge...I miss it a lot. I've been to all fifty states, and there are plenty of other great American cities, but something about Boston is just special.
Usually I catch your videos like the first minute you put it out but I ended up falling asleep for whatever reason for a little bit and I got up and I was so happy that there was a video
FYI: If you like history, you might enjoy Old Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge MA. It's a living history village museum with costumed historians that teach you about 19th century life (sort of like Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia). They have events and things year-round that are appropriate for the seasons.

Also Plimouth Plantation, including the full-scale model of the Mayflower. Their staff are likewise in costume and character. I do hope that you had a chance on this or an earlier trip to see the USS Constitution, "Old Ironsides", at age 210 or so the oldest naval vessel still in use in the US!
I just moved from Washington state to cape cod. An went to boston last weekend an loved it, really liking this whole state 👏
Happy to watch you during my late 11am breakfast!
You are learning while drinking. I love that. Cheers!! 🍹🍹🥂
Great video guys! Really enjoyed it. Been playing cribbage since I was 10. Not too complicated after a few goes.

Hey Guys, Boston native here. love your vids. Been watching the whole RV renovation project. I had an 89 Chevy Coachmen Class C, and did a similar renovation. You two did an incredible job!!!! Makes me wish I still had mine. Enjoy Boston!!! Don't forget to visit the North End neighborhood, some of the best Italian food ever!!!!
Happy to hear your both well, and a great mini tour, Have a Merry Christmas and a great 2022!!
Looks like a lot of fun!!! I too love history!!!
The squirrel!!! 💗 I also love it when you guys get on the beers 🍻 the game looked like a giggle. Can't say I blame you for cancelling your trip over here, fingers crossed it's safe to do so soon!
Brits always say “The tea in the US always tastes terrible”. Now you’ve proved it. The tea bag is supposed to go into BOILING water, not cold salted water. No wonder there was a revolution if that’s how you made your tea! Love Boston, been there several times, always been a great walk around city, but with the “T” great public transport..

Funnily enough, I already knew that a tea bag is supposed to go in boiling water. Besides, back then they didn’t know that the boiling takes out the salt either.

Cribbage is not hard. Maybe you need to grow up playing, like I did. It’s a great travel game because you can get a tiny board. Glad you enjoyed Boston. You’re really gonna love the Hudson Valley, it’s wonderful!
My grandma would always take us to Boston Market when we visited. It was pretty good chicken. I live in Boston now and haven’t been in years. There aren’t a lot in the city. Boston Public Market was the better choice to eat at.

Boston is one of my top 5 cities to visit in all of the U.S., with great food, a lot of charm and character, and the freedom trail is awesome! The only downside is very expensive and traffic is bad.
I love Boston Market! When they had a store in my town, I ate there 1-2 times per week... or more. And the meatloaf was good too! When I'm in a town w a BM, I make sure to visit. The closest to me now is 90+ miles away, but my sister lives there so I have an excuse 🙂😄💕

The reenactment was so fun! That's totally something I would be up for in a city like Boston with so much history. You guys looked like you were having a blast! And the line "finally get some hair on that chest" coupled with Eric's expression had me spitting out my coffee, so after a very long week for us, it was exactly the humor we needed. The Popover Lady in the Market was a daily stop for me on our vacation this summer!
This looks like a great trip and REALLY makes me want to go back again to Boston. The one and only time I visited about 20+ years ago I tore a bunch of ligaments in my ankle our first night there and spent the remainder of our 2 week vacation on crutches. That altered our plans a lot. We toured the city all day on the Hop On Hop Off bus tour for a couple days (which was a great way to get to where we wanted to go) and went to museums where they provided loaner wheelchairs. Next time: Freedom Trail!
LOve you guys! I am Bostonian and I go out of my way help tourists find best places to go.One tip rent bikes (there are everywhere) and ride along Charles river towards Harvard Square the view is spectacular then explore Cambridge as well.Another great thing about Boston is nightlife specially Jazz, Blues clubs.Cheers
Cribbage is a really popular game in Wisconsin!! Next time you’re in Wisco, check out a supper club or older bar/pub because somewhere there might be able to teach you. It’s SO fun!!!!

Love the Popover Lady - try her pies, they are divine!
If you go back to Boston, go to The Olde Oyster House. Best Clam Chowder and the gingerbread cake taste like Christmas.
So fun! Boston is one of my favorite cities, too! Also, bagels are boiled before they are baked--that is what gives them their chewy crust!

Many places steam rather than boil their bagels, but boiling is preferable and makes for a better finished result.
My husband and I visited Boston a few yrs ago. Of course before covid. We had such a great time we went to one of the Samual Adam's Brewery legit came out lit. Then my husband told me we're gonna get Indian food and being from Asian East Indian descent I couldn't wait ended up in Cambridge food was delicious had the best Chinese pork Also. Went to the beach and loved it.
So happy to see you guys have fun in Boston, its one of my favorite cities too (I might be a little biased though ;))! Next time you visit you have to check out the North end. It's an entire neighborhood of delicious Italian food! And if you guys are ever interested in exploring a little bit more of Mass, I know Allison is a fan of oysters, down in Duxbury (about 45 minutes south of boston) there's a place called the raw bar at island creek that's open in the summer, its this really cool outdoor spot right on the ocean. We grow our oysters right in that bay and have a ton of cool very different kinds of tinned fish dishes, as well as a bunch of different local beers. We also just opened a restaurant right across the street open all year round, but I feel like the raw bar especially is something you guys would love!
I knew it before y'all said it I've been watching you guys for a while. The chessyness is my favorite
The Hudson Valley?!! I grew up there. Can't wait to see what you get up to.
I’m the artist who made the big paintings behind you in the market! So cool to see them in the video! So glad you enjoyed your trip!
I miss Boston Market. We had them years ago and I go whenever I see one. Boston is great too! The duck tour there is fun if they still do it (I remember an incident).
