our old Standard SOF-16E making noise from its age
I'm surprised this still works since this is my second family's dining room fan, I wish to see more of these old models!
I cleaned this fan with toothpaste to give it a shine, then I took this.
This is running on its lowest speed, rise the speed and the noise vanishes even on max, its capacitor is still good so it still reaches top speed without flaws and struggles.

@@TheoryMasterlll2ndchannel *that is true,* but we'd rather not change it for now since it still works. We're trying our best to preserve our vintage things in that house, there's also an old really yellowed Standard SDA-16C still in operation only being used as a floor fan now.

@@iPhone14ProMax_Kit I couldn't remember much but yes we did have that fan before, it broke down unfortunately so it was replaced with the modernized SOF-16E.
