same!! i had my bun in a pet store cage with a small litter box and now he free roams 24/7 in my kitchen!! he binkies all the time and loves his huge (covered) litter box ^^

It is great to see someone who cares so much about helping these cute bunnies. I wanted to comment on how much your channel has meant to our family. We adopted a rabbit from a family member a couple of years ago and didn't know much of anything about them, even though I had a rabbit growing up. I am really sad to say that she passed away yesterday. We only had her for a little over two years, but your channel taught us so much. She spent most of her life in a hutch cage drinking from a bottle and it is because of you that we transitioned her out of the cage and she became mostly free roaming (she also had a large enclosure we put her in at night). We would have never realized how great and loving she could be if we didn't move her out of the hutch and with us. She was a completely different rabbit once she learned to trust us and we learned to properly care for her. I feel bad about her spending most of her life in a cage, but I know we made her life much happier towards the end. I know she brought much joy to us. Keep doing what you are doing. It is important for both the rabbits and their owners. Thanks for making a difference in our lives.

Hello. I just wanted to say thank you for making these videos possible. I bought a new bunny and named him Cosmo. I watched so many of your videos to get prepared and finally make him his playpen and teach him to free roam. Sadly he has passed away rn. Only a few days but I'm grateful. It amazes me how knowledgeable people like Vicki are and how intelligent they are to be humble enough to seek help from a Veterinarian. I want to be like Vicki, maybe go back to school or do an internship as a Vet Tech. I just know that my heart swells so much seeing videos like this and I know my purpose in life must have something to do with helping and loving animals, especially rabbits!

I know you’ll probably never see this comment but Loreli THANK YOU for everything you’ve taught me. After looottss of watching and learning I am so excited to be finally getting my own rabbit this week. My partner was unsure about a bunny as a pet and especially indoors. Update: We have our gorgeous bunny Tillie all settled in and loving life. She is now FULLY FREE ROAM which makes me so proud and so happy. She’s the happiest little bun and brings us joy everyday. My boyfriend is utterly in love with her too

I'm so glad you do all of this - you've taught me so much about bunnies!! Unfortunately I just lost my little Jersey Wooly girl. She died from complications of her genetics. The little breeds have a propensity for dental issues, and my little Attila The Bun was no exception. I did everything I learned from you, and everything I learned from the House Rabbit Society. It was never going to be enough to save her. I would love it if you could do a video about the problems with pure breed bunnies - the health issues they suffer due to being bred for 'cuteness'. I only adopt, never shop, but I still wound up with someone's unwanted purebred, and I paid the price. I will be adopting another bun - an all white New Zealand mix this time. Mostly because in my area, they have a hard time finding homes because of the red eyes. I am kind of the adopter of the unwanted animals🙄 Anyway, thank you for all you do- it's because of you that I was able to give Attila the best possible life for her last year on earth. You should be binge watched by everyone who has or is thinking about getting a bunny!!🐰♥️

They are in such good hands! Hope they will be okay. Vicki is an angel. Vets in US are crazy expensive. In Poland (at least by my vet) it would be equivalent around 20 dollars, so 100 PLN. Considering that the minimal wage is around 15 PLN and in US it's around 15 USD it's insane to me.

I thought it was funny that she described Albon as being similar to a probiotic, but it’s a treatment for coccidia. Sometimes it can be used as a dewormer in preventative care.

Rescue is such a hard thing. I've rescued a couple buns, and ended up keeping one of them and he's a happy boy still to this day! I named him Brave! Hopefully the babies get better soon. I too have a New Zealand white. He's almost 8.5 years old and his name is Dick. His mate passed away 1.5 years ago due to complications with her cancer. I had gotten her radiation treatments but sadly the radiation made her immunocompromised and she got a respiratory infection and couldn't beat it sadly... She was 8.5 years old when she died. RIP my princess Roxy.

You do such amazing things for bunnies and thank you for educating us about bunnies! I have been watching your videos for 1 year and now i know how to be a good bunny mom,my parents agreed for us to adopt a bunny in October so we have time to prepare!

Got a little update of my own since my 10yo elderbun Kumo passed away a month ago... We ended up going to our local shelter last tuesday and decided to give a forever home to a young adult bun who would otherwise have trouble finding a home as she had to have a back leg amputated when they got her. Our vet says she's otherwise healthy with all the cares the shelter gave her to save her life. She's a tiny 2.3lbs sweetheart named Elsa somewhere between 1 and 3yo and currently lives in a large playpen while we slowly get her used to free roaming under supervision for her safety. We'll keep the playpen up once she's fully free roam as her personal 'bedroom' she can go back to whenever she wants as she really likes it. Edit: She already gets along wonderfully with our kitties too. I wasn't worried on the cats' end as they've lived with free roam bunnies all their lives, but was worried she would be scared of them. She isn't at all! Even claimed em by chin rubs on day 1 and asks em for head pets, which they oblige to but with head licks xD

They're so cute, and I'm glad they're doing much better! I hope they grow up to be very healthy, loveable bunnies!
