I NEVER thought I would ever be with anyone younger than me but here I am years later with a guy 8 yrs younger than me and we have a son together, I did meet him initially when he was 18 or 19 and I was 25 at the time but I didn't look at him that way, I was more like happy to meet him give him some advice then went on my way until years later..almost a decade later actually...when we actually reconnected and actually talked talked and now here we are raising a son together ❤️. Strange how that works out! A 10 year difference between someone 40 and 50 doesn't produce much of a difference. You can't use a comparison like that in this case. There is a far larger difference between someone 14 and 24 than there is someone 25 and 50. Also, you can still have plenty of things in common despite age differences. You're caught up on the differences that you're neglecting the plethora of basic things you can have in common with someone.

I genuinely don't understand how you don't view 25 years as a very substancial gap. Have you tried actually having a conversation with an older person or are you just assuming? There's something to learn from everyone no matter how old or young they are, and all you need is basic social skills and listening skills and you can have a fun and interesting conversation with _anyone_ , even if they are talking about something you haven't yet experienced. Having unrelated experiences isn't exclusive to the young and old. And again, even if that's true it doesn't mean navigating those convesations would be difficult. It just means that there is something new to learn and explore with the other person.

Although I do myself would not bring in this situation, I am pretty sure he is at least 18, not man with a brain would allow themselves to be recorded otherwise. Secondly, some young men have a fantasy of being with older men. Though I feel the older one should know better cause the younger one is at his most impressionable time in.. you can’t solely find guilt in him. I don’t see how they can have anything in common tbh, and it just seems like an older guy that is into young men in a naive period of their lives.

Which makes me think of all the evolutionary psychology that men prefer younger women because of fertility (limited eggs and blabllabla) and that men get better with age and don't expire. But then, in the gay world, i see exactly the same dynamics of olfer men going after much younger men and it's not like they are measuring their fertility and ability to birth healthy babies...and that men get better after 30. One of my best friends is gay (bear community) has been married for 20 years and he met his husband when he was 23 and the husband was 45. This older guy just dated much younger men and definitely wanted one for these gender role dynamics. My friend was and is a teddy bear chubby type with a very soft voice and they both work but hes the one taking care of the chores and basically being in the submissive role
