We agree! The very reason we sold our stick house and purchased this used. We'll have it paid off in about 5 yrs. Still have a lot more to do but enjoying the process!

It's so refreshing because it's homey, comfortly stylish, and isn't all gray and white - sincerely, thank you. Also, your hutch in your dining area is so nice the way it is, and provides a subtle contrast to your beautiful refinished table and chairs - plus, along with your rug and the color of your walls - it's like a pretty painting with all the right tones and colors. Awe..you're so sweet! I actually made this video and posted on KZread just to be able to share where we had moved with my sister- in- law, who lives in a different town and isn't on social media. That's who I'm talking to in the video! Lol 🤦🏻‍♀️ I forgot to take it down and several weeks later realized people were watching it! 😳 I am working on a before and after video and working on one that will be about EVERYTHING involved in moving a used mobile home. That is a very beautiful home and I too cannot believe it is a mobile home. I have lived in several and none of them were ever that nice. Those floors and island are gorgeous! I like that you did shiplap and beadboard because I never like the walls in trailers and I love shiplap and beadboard. I can't wait to see what you do with the rest of the rooms so I subscribed to your channel. My husband has dementia and we are going to need to probably put a mobile home or tiny house on my son's property soon and I need ideas and you gave me some great inspiration. Thanks!

I'm 56 and my husband 57 and we moved this 2yr old mobile home onto my daughter's property thinking of our future and retirement. It was in really great shape but I didn't like the dark stained shiplap or the carpet and the walls were all grey. We added the breadboard bc it's classic and never goes out of style. I made this video to send to a relative that lives out of town and isn't on social media...so I posted on KZread to send to her and forgot to take it down. I had NO idea people would be so interested in a mobile home remodel. I am working on more videos to tell all that is involved in moving a used mobile home and will be videoing as I decorate each room. I hope you follow along and I wish you and your husband the best. You will so enjoy living close to your family...I know we do! God Bless! ❤️

The whole design plan is great! I love the decor. If I would change one thing it would be on the vent hood. I would have stained that bottom piece the same color as the shelves. Otherwise looks great.

Thanks for the comment! I thought about that. It was taking us so long to finish and get moved in I decided to just go with a simple design. I plan to change the kitchen blinds to bamboo to bring in a wood element. ❤️

Oh my god, i love your home, man i cannot wait to get me one, i have my own land and i am a homesteader still living in my old guy RV😔, don't get me wrong I'm grateful to have a roof over my head but i want so desperately to GET OUT OF THIS RV, I've been doing as much research as possible to figure out my options to get s manufactured home placed on my property and still being able to survive, things are soooo expensive nowadays with this housing market

You are exactly right. Totally the reason we went the mobile home route. The quotes we were getting to build a house were unbelievable! I'm working on a video explaining all the cost in moving a used one and everything about setting one up. Hope you'll follow along! I'm working on a before and after video. I've been sick for over a week and lost my voice. Hoping to have it up soon. We were fortunate it was in very good shape. Other than the sheetrock cracks from moving it, the majority of changes were cosmetic.

This has to be double wide not 14’ wide. It’s done so lovely. I,m IMPRESSED

Your home is beautiful. I can’t Waite to see the before and after… we bought property on the lake and I want a mobile home to put on it as it will only be a vacation home. So I’m looking forward to your next vlog. Will you be putting this on a permanent foundation? I would be interested in the process if you do. Our property owners association says a mobile home must be on a permanent foundation and I’m not sure how to go about that.

We thought about a permanent slab and my husband did look into it. It was really expensive and there is the draw back of not being able to get under it to fix anything. For example we purchased this one used and after we moved it to our property I realized some trim at the floor in the breakfast area seemed to have water damage so when the plumbers were running the plumbing under the home I had him check. There was a leak in the drain of the guest bathroom tub on the other side of that wall. It was an easy repair because he was able to get to it from underneath the home. Thank you for the sweet comment! I plan to do a full tour of the house as soon as we totally finished and do a video about everything involved in moving one. 😊

Yes it is. It's a 64×30. The people we bought it from had it flipped from the original plan though.

Thank you! This is a Houston made by Winston. It was used but only about one and a half years old when we purchased and moved it. It had carpet and the wood work was dark stain with grey walls. I plan to do another video when we totally finish, and tell everything involved in moving one.
