I’m not gonna lie, while I love y’all’s New York home, (it’s beyond!) there’s just something about y’all’s LA swag that I can’t get enough of🤗♥️

For the crib in the primary room, have you tried adjusting the mattress the lowest setting? Usually, some cribs come with two "settings". You move the part that holds the mattress to the bottom setting for when they get older so they can't get out. Also, some turn into toddler beds. Just for whenever baby Ever was taking a nap in that room. Love all your houses. I really can't wait to see the NY home. ❤❤❤

Hi A! First time mommy here too and i looooove co-sleeping with my baby girl. At first i was nervous about it because of the things i hear and see online but an awesome nurse i met told me “Humans are the only mammals that doesn’t sleep with their babies” and that hit me because it’s only a natural thing to do as long as it’s done safely. My parents co-slept with all 4 of us siblings too. Can’t see myself doing it any other way. So happy to see your journey with Ever ♥️

When we first had our son I was so agains cosleeping because of what I was reading about safe sleep. I was a part of some FB groups and Mom’s were shaming each other verywhere. I felt so sad away from my son in his bassinet :( I started taking naps with him during the day and fell in love with cosleep and I felt I trusted myself more with him as time went on. I wouldn’t change the transition to cosleep for the world! ❤

Thank you for sharing! You have a beautiful Californian home because of the care and love that will be put into it by your family. I suggest looking into pool gates that will not obstruct your amazing view rather than a tall iron gate. You can get a solid clear pool cover (lays horizontally and fits the size and shape of your pool dimensions ) to go over your pool when not in use. I think it’s remote controlled. It is solid so no one accidentally falls in (children or adults) and you can actually walk and even dance on it. This will give you more area to use and entertain with when you don’t want to be inside the pool. Plus, it’s clear so it’s cool to be able to look into it as you are standing above the pool. For added peace of mind, you can hire lifeguards for your backyard events ( pool parties, bbq’s, etc) so all the adults can enjoy their time freely without having to worry if someone accidentally falls in the pool or if people are swimming there is a certified lifeguard on hand for any aquatic emergency. Hope it helps! 🙂 Yes, in a lot of Southern California homes there are formal living rooms (to sit and entertain guests) and family rooms (usually contains a tv and it’s the main area where the family relaxes together and has fun). These rooms sometimes have different terms in different parts of the country. I think cosleeping is fine if that’s what the parents choose to do. However, intimacy can be difficult because it can’t be spontaneous since there is a minor always in the bed. Transitioning the child later on from the parents bed/bedroom to the child’s bed/bedroom may be difficult since they never had to sleep without their parents in the same bed or room. I think cosleeping is a sweet idea in theory but it is a choice we choose not to make with our 2 kids (5 yr old son & 3 yr old daughter). I personally can’t get a good nights rest if someone is touching me. I need my space when I’m actually sleeping. I snuggle with my toddlers all the time and we have a great bedtime routine (reading books, brushing teeth, snuggles, etc) but it’s all done in their beds in their bedrooms. 🙂

I agree!! I co-sleep with my son and it’s was the worst decision I have ever done. lol He’s 4 now and doesn’t want to sleep alone. Its hard to get some alone time with my spouse.

I love co-sleeping and we did it with my son until about a month ago (after he turned 1). The main reason we put him in his crib now is that he's a very active sleeper and changes positions throughout the night. I never knew such a little body can take up so much space! 😅
