That quilt is absolutely beautiful. So precious.

It's enough work to clean a house bit by bit, but having the whole thing engulfed in dust is something else. I'm impressed that the cleaning was accomplished so quickly.

What a huge job on the outside and on the inside! Kudos to you, Priscilla for the hard, fast work in getting your house cleaned again! Words don't suffice to describe the good feeling of having a clean house, top to bottom! You're an amazing sister in law!

Thank you for sharing your wonderful quilt.

I connected some PCV pipes (1 inch x 4 foot) to my shop vac and used the brush end. that way I could add sections of pipe to reach higher. I used the HEPA filter and bags and vacuumed the dust off my walls. Looked great, tome to do it again.

Beautiful quilt! I started quilting about 10 years ago and have a LONG way to go.

I rent a cabin house. I am not happy with the hog walls because of all the dust. Also, this place is about 40 years old and my landlord never finished the floors, the railing and stairs. It is all unfinished wood so dust and other partials cling to it. Seeing this video makes me worry that if she actually decides to do what she’s been saying she’s going to do for the last three years that is to oil the outside logs will she be blowing dust inside?! Also, the windows that I can’t reach are now covered with probably fly poop. It really is disgusting. I never knew a place could be so grossly dusty. Oh, and we also get glacier dust. So glad that you have a beautiful home and help. It would be so nice to have help. Thank you for sharing much love to you all.

On a log home, you have to sand and varnish the logs otherwise it’s impossible to clean. If she ends up staining the outside it won’t reach the inside, just if she will media blast it.

Beautiful home and it takes a lot of work to keep it up both inside and out. So happy that you had your sister and mother to help you out. That's how my family in Newfoundland work when its time for spring cleaning. Your mother in law is certainly a beautiful quilter and you're both so lucky to have your parents still with you. Hopefully now you can enjoy the rest of your spring and summer without too much hard labor, but it's all a labor of love.!

O m gosh. Big job cleaning doing curtein a bedding all a big job and work .. I.kniw that darn dust. I live out country black dirt. We v had dust storms seams in windows doors and if course one window did nt get closed tight thank heavens east window bad enough dus

Oh my, 🤔 I watched the sand blasting on Meadow Lark Homes and never thought about all that sanding coming into the home. 🥴 Be Blessed in your tackling all the internal cleaning. All hands will have to be on deck to clean the inside of the home once they are done blasting the outside. Oh my. I can't imagine having all that work to do. I saw Joas on a previous video going through a room with a compressor hose & blowing all that dust everywhere even knocking over a plant. My first thought was that Priscilla must not have been home. Hope Jonas wasn't in the doghouse after that. Glad you had your sister help you. Hope you never have to do that to the exterior of the house again. Prisilla you looked so tired at end of video. My heart went out to you. You dear soul. I love you. ❤

Whatever! My log house has 30’ ceilings. I need to know how to dust 30’ high.

Soap and water is correct 😀 we also use Murphy’s oil which helps.

Maybe if you had put a ventilator on the other side to blow air in the house, keep it in over pressure and there wouldn't be that much dust inside.

Moma McNeely Absolutely, over time the stain gets too dark and if not treated properly can start to rot. This is proper maintenance of a log home. Every 5 to 7 years sand and restain.

You have invented a new way of testing the energieconsumption of a house. You just have to blast your house and the harder your wife has to clean the higher you energiecomsumption is. Greeting from the Netherlands where in the most christian houses you can find one or more books concerning the Amish.
