I’m going to miss the spontaneity of genie+ and the ability to stack lightning lanes for nights. As an out of state pass holder who never stays at Disney resorts I’m going to get scraps of leftover lightning lanes if we go the day of without planning ahead. I don’t see the multi pass system lasting long because planning days in advance is no fun. I can see if lightning lanes were free like fast pass used to be but having to also pay and plan ahead makes it very hard for families with little ones. When we were on our last trip, we flip-flopped one of our beach days with a park day because of the weather and if I had preplanned lightning lanes, I would’ve lost them and then not been able to get good ones on our swap days, most likely. Also - a fun story the place where you take your castle pictures is where my daughter and I had a HUGE magic moment one trip. A custodial cast member pulled us aside from the Tomorrowland bridge and asked if we wanted to have a good firework spot and this was about five minutes before fireworks started. He took us over there and it was just us alone under the turret. He brought us Mickey bars and it was the best core memory of my life! I cried the entire time cause it was so amazing. He got the biggest cast compliment I’ve ever given!

I agree. I liked genie plus and I had it down to a science (after watching these videos) for the two times we went last year. Now, I have to figure out a new system before our trip in September. We are staying on resort but I agree, I don’t like idea of not being able to switch up parks or change plans. Also, the unleveled playing field for non- resort/over-sea guests seems unfair. What is the point of paying if you are not going to get any rides? People complained bc they wanted the free pass back bc they didn’t want to pay for it. Well guess what, you got it back and you still need to pay for it. I doubt this new system will last very long. I bet a high percentage of people will no-show rides, especially if they don’t have to pay a fee like reservations.

I love that they’re changing it. I didn’t like not knowing what my day was going to look like. I miss the old days where you can pick 3 fast passes months in advance

Your videos give me the confidence that I can one day take my kids with me solo!!

Our first trip last year I was so proud of myself for learning genie + and felt great about using it again if we ever go back...now they change it 🙄

We loved animal kingdom lodge so much on our last trip. First time staying there. We went to animal kingdom and it was seriously like a 5 min bus ride. Amazing. I know that park is REALLY close, but that’s faster than any other form of transportation I’ve taken at other resorts in Disney! We will be back for sure

I just did my first solo trip with my seven-year-old daughter this past weekend for our birthdays. We stayed at the grand Floridian and it was absolutely amazing. 3 nights in a standard studio for $900🎉

Love how you keep it real with EVERYTHING and I agree with your opinions about the merits of Genie+. Sometimes you just don't want to wait 20-30 minutes. Really interested in your experience with "LL Multipass". I feel like it could be tricky for me but I guess Disney is betting that people prefer to plan. Anyway, chicken fingers ftw always - overall fun day!

Just found your channel and having been loving watching your videos!! 🥰 we are taking our 2 and 4 year old on their first Disney trip (my first trip too!) this September and your videos are making me so excited!!! Also love the realness of your videos, it always looks like little girls are having the most magical time , which I’m certain mine will butttt my oldest is very very shy and anxious so I know it won’t always be super easy, so when you talked about your sweet girl being attached to you and nervous in the story time with belle it just really struck home and was nice to see a more realistic view of those moments, still magical nonetheless but realistic too lol. 💛 where did you get the dress she had on in this video? ☺️

I never care how long I'm on a bus or how many stops there are. I'm just so happy to be there that it doesn't matter😊💐👍
