Important Instructions:
- Do not pay travel tax by online (Tamabil Land Port do not accept any online travel tax)
- After crossing the border show your passport to BSF for name entry then wait for Free Bus service for immigrant provided by Dawki port. It will take you to the Dawki Land Port for immigration check.
- If you want to buy SIM card and need to exchange money then take a break at Dawki Bazar. You will find many shops and local restaurants in there.
- Distance from Dawki border to Dawki Bazar is about 1.5 - 2 km (Approx)
- You can hire taxi/tourist car from Dawki bazar. You will find some share jeep for Shillong as well.
- Treat everyone well, so you will get better service from everyone with proper respect.
- Do not litter anywhere.
