Nesting phase does not even start until the very end of pregnancy. If she is pregnant this video is probably a result of her being sick and tired and not being able to clean. OR it could be just a normal video about someone cleaning their house.????????

@@Mania26 according to facebook she had the baby in december. She was probably about 4-5 months pregnant in this video because it was published in August. Probably why she was not showing yet.

Strategy sounded good. Tackle an area, vary it a little if you need a break, while still making other progress. There are always times in life where temporary priorities throw things "out of whack" and then you work to put things back in order. A woman once told me to "fix the largest area in a room" first. That could be a carpet, a bed... In your case, I had to chuckle. The largest area in the first room may have been a table...

We raised our grandchildren after our daughter passed from Cancer at 36. We had a rule that no one went to bed if there was a dirty kitchen. No excuses. What we love is now they are grown and have children of their own they both have the same policy in their own homes 🤗 It may be silly but we are so proud it became a family tradition.

I can not go bed with a messy kitchen or any area it all has to be tidy,same as if going out I do housework before as don’t like coming home to a messy house

Fyi ...you can put you small pots on top shelf of dishwasher so your plates can be on the bottom

Losing daylight was my problem when I first got my house because I didn't have a dryer . When I did get a dryer my husband put it in another room and it was just a pain . To cold in winter had to keep adding time

My last clean up jobs are pretty easy, dishes, laundry and the cat room (litter box). Won't take more than 3 hours total. Now my yard projects are a different story lol

I have been a housekeeper for 24 years, I love going into other peoples homes and and making them feel so happy at the end of the day ! You are an awesome house person 👏👏

Great job. You made it all seem so easy but I bet it wasn't, I've got to "just do it too."

The top half of your house is torn apart. Before the reno started, the house looked quite orderly, Nave. So, a good part of the disorder is situational. Long renos can be overwhelming, especially when it is a farmer doing it as the farm work has to take priority. The key is to develop new habits amid the chaos. I think you are well on your way.

Excellent point Lori, I was coming to say the same thing. Living in such a huge Reno and for a long period of time, is exhausting and it can feel like you are fighting a loosing battle . Nave, I like Lori’s idea of just try to give yourself some new routines to keep the situation that you are living with during the Reno’s somewhat under control. Sort of controlled chaos so to speak. You are doing great !

It is not actually easy to keep things tidy all the time. At the moment you are living in a construction site. You do not have proper storage solutions or the space to live properly. It won’t be like that forever.

I'm 72 and I do this everyday. But not as messy, not when you clean everyday. Plus I clean 2 Airbnb 3 bedroom houses once a week.

Nave you did a great job getting the house clean and all the loads of laundry folded and put away. 👏 You clean your kitchen the way I clean my sink! There is just one thing I noticed that you did. You put your bathroom rugs in the washer with a kitchen dishcloth!! The rugs have hair and who knows what on them. I know you put soap and maybe hot water in the washer but coming from someone who has been taking of a home for 51 years, I would say that is not a sanitary practice that anyone should use. Kitchen towels and dishcloths should always been washed separately from other clothing or towels, rugs , underwear etc. As a matter of fact, bath towels & washcloths should also be washed alone. Underwear has a lot of bacteria on them and it is recommended you do not put underwear with kitchen or bath laundry. I know it may be timing consuming and costly doing kitchen towels alone and doing bath towels and washcloths alone but it is the sanitary way to do.laundry. Keep up the good work. Your kitchen counter looks so nice all clean and clear and the diffuser running makes it so homey!
