Our Honeymoon in Harbor Island Bahamas (Spearfishing Bahamas)

Spearfishing and fishing on Harbor Island for our Bahamas Honeymoon. Since we already live in paradise (Hawaii) and got married in paradise (The Bahamas), we decided to hop over to one of our favorite small islands to Honeymoon. Harbor Island is a unique Bahamas paradise with fantastic fishing, spearfishing, and plenty to do on land. For a beautiful oceanfront resort check out The Coral Sands Hotel, and for all your island needs reach out to Conch and Coconuts.

My low key main reason for going on vacation is just to go with places with good fish. Being stuck in Kansas, you can only handle eating catfish, bass, and crappie for so long

My husband and I honeymooned on Harbour Island 31 years ago. I also grew up vacationing on Harbour Island with my family. We also have the love of diving and travel. I don't believe that you could have a better way of assuring you have strong relationship than a shared spirit, especially as dive and travel partners. After 31 years we are still looking forward to the next adventure. Congratulations!

I got news for you if that's your favorite way of opening coconuts. It's a hard to find tool in the US but I think you have enough of the right connections to make it happen. So the tool is about 2.5 feet long and is 2 handled kind of like a fence hole shovel, the tip is two flat surfaces that meet up and both have a sharp point . With two hands you drive the tool into the coconut husk and then spread the handles apart which easily rips the husk apart, a few rotations later and you have a fully husked coconut. This is a tool your gonna love owning in life if you find it, trust me brother. Edit: I looked it up and it's called Aranyik portable and manual coconut husking tool and a better description is it's like reverse pliers with a lots of leverage.

I prefer the husband and wife type video. Make sure you guys continue to have fun and enjoy each other. Thanks for taking me on this journey. A tip with the coconut. Those that you can hear the water when you shake are the older ones. The best balance is those that look mature, but don't allow any song of water when you shake. Take care. May God bless and continue to keep you guys safely through your adventures.

No offense, but you guys need to upload. Doesn't mean bust your butt with unrealistic epic videos. You JUST got featured on Outdoor Chef Life and you have no new content. Not saying I'm any better, I don't have a successful youtube channel. Just do it!
