Make sure when picking up, you support the butts. Theyre spines can be fragile. And it also makes them feel secure. Also DO NOT use hamster wheels or balls. Not surenif anyone told you or if you read. Theyre bad for their backs. A good resource if still out there is guinealynx.

Are you going to keep the door closed so that the cats can't get to them? They seemed WAY too interested in June and Stacy! Great job on their new house! You did end up getting rid of the bed though. LOL

So glad to see how much space the have! I would recommend though getting them a water bottle though. Most pigs prefer using them. I love seeing how much you care for them. Can’t wait for more updates.

With your creative mind… you made them a mansion! They look so happy. I can see you extending this to different floors. Great Job Ayla and Roman!

Our Guinea pig loved clover. I used to grow it in my garden I know my neighbors hated it LOL

This is such an awesome way to give them the love and space they need! I’m sure they’re super happy!

Congrats on the guinea pigs they are so cute! You do realize, allllll those squares are blank canvases perfect for painting assorted and various things! Looking forward to seeing how you pimp out their house!

I actually have two guinea pigs named hammy and porky they are so cute, you should get a log from the pet store. btw guinea pigs can eat banana but not too much,cucumber, they can eat strawberries,blueberries,pears,apples,kale,kiwi,broccoli,bell peppers,rasberries,tomatoes,peaches. That's some of the food they can eat. (This comment was made by my child)

I remember how excited your family was when your dad brought Roman the race car bed. I'm glad you ended up not using it for the guinea pigs and hope another child will get the chance to use it. My brother had one and absolutely loved sleeping in it.

Guinea pigs are so fun! I love how they talk. It is good you got two, because they don't like to be alone. We would still have cavies, but our daughter and I are both allergic. ☹️ So, once our original two passed, we didn't get any more.

As a Guinea pig owner(of around 11-13) I’d suggest feeding them pellets(you can find many different varieties of pellets at your local pet shop) as I did notice the ‘salad bowl’ had a bit too many greens, I have kept guinea pigs for many many years now and this is just a suggestion for you both, - Best wishes on your journey with them, sending love from Guernsey x

Alr good cage Ayla! But a tip! If you give them water out of a bowl it’s possible they can choke without training, you could add marbles to the bowl, that’ll teach them how to drink water out of a bowl

I used rugs at one time too but ended up having to buy extra so that when I hosed the rugs off they had dry ones ready. I think I ended up having 10 small rugs
