Great sermon! When I went to college to be an RN, we had to give each other shots, and practice starting IV's on each other. That was 40 years ago, but it may be different now. We must NOT FORGET GOD! It never works out right, if we leave the ruler of our lives out of all major decisions!!! I needed reminding,thank you Jack.

Praise God for a pastor who teaches the Bible and speaks the truth in love. Jack helps me put my life in focus with God first and not the things of the world. He always speaks hope for our future in Bible terms. We need more pastors speaking Biblical truth!

I am 76 and soon will be before the Throne of God. I am praying God will allow me to be part of the Rapture. The moment I have looked forward to all my life.

I try to talk of God with others, but I am not doing it right. HOW do I make people sit up and take notice? Today I am really really down. Everything seems to be wrong lately, and I am just so tired, and today the first thought from my mind was not "Thank You, God for all you did, Thank You, God for the sleep I had." It was "I am so tired. Why am I bothering to get up". Then I came and listened to this, and I was reminded to say the words, and hope that God would realise I NEED HIM in my life. I NEED God every moment of every day. To use the words of a movie "Willow" ... "Without You, Lord, I dwell in darkness, YOU are my rock, my sun, my moon, and my stars". Please Lord, do not forsake me.

I understand what you are feeling. I struggle daily and I have poor health and wonder what it must look like when I express that I am a believer. What we must remember is that it isn't us that make people sit up and take notice - it is the Holy Spirit that makes others respond. We are His beloved and an instrument of His peace. We need to be around others of like-mindedness to stay encouraged. God bless you.

He doesn't promises lack of the valley ...but that he will walk through with us ...and when we are in diversity ...how we carry ourselves as Christians speaks volumes of who you\we are and the hope and the faith that is within us ....and communicates that our faith is true and our hope is sure and yes and amen in everything that Christ and God has promised to

I don’t know if we generally “forget” that God is in the middle of it all. For me at least the thought of “what the heck is going on” is more of being awestruck of what’s going on in the world. Almost to the point of disbelief of what’s going on due to the realization that God is SO much bigger than I can comprehend. Does that make sense?

This was 2 years!!! Hmmmm I'm longing for my Jesus!

Here’s another thought. I have absolutely NO clue what God has actually saved me from because he kept me from going down the road I was going down. So what was going to happen to me never happened. Just like Hell. I will never know what he saved me from because I’ll never see Hell!

That last verse, the word (he) is talking directly about the Rapture and removal of the holy spirit! Only those who know the holy spirit, know, that the holy spirit is (he) lower case letters. Isaiah 17:14 And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.
