just finished watching it. It was incredibly beautiful and painful. There are very few people like Dane in real world. Cried a lot and smiled a lot. Jason, Casey and Dakota were just magnificent. A must watch.

I Love You Man is the best, but this looks great.

I graduated high school with Nicole ( the woman the movie is based around.) She was such a sweet , kind hearted soul. Looks like a very fitting tribute to her story.

This isn’t one of your Marvel movies. Anyone at the very basic minimum scans the New York Times or any normal journalistic publication knows this story and what happened here. You need to crawl out of your hole. Life isn’t a work of fiction and a series of plot points to satisfy your fanboying.

@@bpark3726 well, humour is a great way to deal with loss, and it's not even an insensitive joke, it's just a one liner. I think the problem is that people can't understand how you say things, and your intentions when they read them online, it's not like face to face talking. And I get it, people can't understand how you say things when you write them. So I'm sorry if my one liner seemed ill intended, but I assure you it's a friendly comment, that wanted to make you atleast smirk 😊

I'm sorry for your loss and I can definitely say this movies was waaaay better then I expected it to be 💯🙏

This movie was amazing. Even better than the trailer. I could relate to this movie so much with cancer running in my family. And Jason Segal's character was definitely relatable

I’m gonna love this because I’ve been in both of these positions. I’ve helped some of my friends though some very painful situations and I’ve had my friends help me through some of my own really painful situations. Also I love Jason Segal in more nuanced roles, he’s always struck me as someone who’s a really good guy irl and I can totally see him in a role like this.

Randomly saw this as an ad before a video I planned to watch and quickly got hooked. It's been a while since I've wanted to sit down and watch a movie that looked this engaging, I might just give it a look.

This certainly touched me. A beautiful story about love, intimacy, and the trials of life and its transistions.

Wowwwwwwww. I was an extra in this film. Everyone was so nice when we got to see them.

Cancer sucks in my family! Mom, Grandma rip.. it was a sad movie, and had a few funny moments to it.

Happy to see Jason Segel in another major film. Seems like a great role for him.

All three actors insanely underrated. Beautifully made movie...

I remember being there being a lot of commotion and a few friends of mine telling me about meeting him and being extras in the movie ( the movie was filmed in Fairhope Alabama, the last scene in the trailer is the fairhope pier where there is a huge water fountain)

Fun Fact: the girl right behind Dakota Johnson at 2:16 on the left in the light blue shirt is Molly, the daughter of Matt and Nicole.

You should it’s a remarkable film

I read the article that this movie is based upon a few years ago, and I still think about it all the time. It was a brutal and beautiful piece, and I wonder how deep the movie will go into those darker aspects of the story. I'm not sure if I'll watch the movie adaptation though. I kind of don't want it to taint what the article means to me. I also wonder how the friend, Jason Segel's character, feels about the story being optioned. It was written by the husband, Casey Affleck's character. Find it, read it.
