Our First Tokyo Disneyland Trip! | Cute Merch, Ride POVs & What We Ate!

Ойын-сауық

In today's vlog we take a first ever trip into the Tokyo Disneyland park!! First we start with breakfast at the hotel, we show you what the club level breakfast buffet includes and then we head straight to the buses then to the monorail station to take the monorail over to the park. The monorails here are awesome! We enter the park and immediately try to take it all in. It's amazing! We take a look at merch right away because it's still pretty rainy then we head into the park to get on some rides. We were able to get on Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder Mountain, we watched Country Bear Jamboree, Mark Twain Riverboat, Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, and Haunted Mansion! And this was only half of our day!! Please stay tuned to our channel for more Tokyo Disney vlogs! Check out Stephie and Dave's channel for Tokyo Disney vlogs as well! / krispysmore
Thank you for watching and we'll see you tomorrow with a new Tokyo Disneyland vlog!!

Walt's dream of a Small World came true in this video. An American couple and a British couple, who met through Disney, are having fun together in Disney Japan. I think this video would make Walt very happy.

Everyone in Tokyo Disney waves at each other on the rides and smiles ,everyone in Magic KIngdom Florida tramples on each other ,and runs over you with strollers, and would step on you go get a better view of the fireworks . I feel Tokyo Disney is how USA disney was In the 1970s

When I went with my family back in 2018 around New Years, people would always wave at each other on the rides and my dad and brother LOVED that, so they waved at everyone who passed by on the ride. And people we re always so excited and happy! I definitely can't wait to go back

I will be honest, I went to Tokyo Disneyland last year, I have also been to Disneyland Anaheim a multitude of times, I personally prefer Anaheim, although the one in Tokyo had significantly less people, and the rides are literally the same (as the exceptions are the Star Wars galaxy’s edge and Avengers themed areas in Anaheim.) Tokyo Disneyland seems a lot smaller because it doesn’t have these, none the less, still an enjoyable experience, would go again :)

@@manillargo not too bad to the best of my knowledge, just as long as you aren't going as part of a Brazilian Tour Group. BTGs are typically the bane of Disney workers, but they are still nice and inviting to them. The BTGs are usually incorrigible because it's almost always a bunch of teenagers led by someone who couldn't care less. I'm sure it has less to do with them being Brazilian and more to do with them being teenagers.

Fun fact: The Japanese aren't particularly fond of getting wet on rides. They had to change Splash Mountain because of this. It doesn't have the big splash at the end, it just mists up. See 23:43

ZergeiTV I think because Japan is VERY humid (except winter) so not only it takes a long time to dry your clothes but humidly/wet has been noticeable element of discomfort and safety hazard (home molds) in Japan. Also, have your clothes wet in public considered out of manners since cities are packed and people ride public transportation that could cause others to get wet. Typically, average Japanese spend more money on their garments than average Americans. That’s why all Japanese people use umbrella as soon as rain and all the stores provide umbrella cover for customers’ wet umbrella.

The Tokyo parks focus a lot more on different franchises and wanted merchandise for japan, like Disney themed face masks, place mats, a lot of plushies, and they have a ton of themed snack boxes. In Japan, giving gifts isn’t a common tradition because then they feel bad, and have to give a present back, which is why a lot of the merch you can buy are snack boxes and treats, if you were to give them to other people.

This brings back memories of when I visited Tokyo Disneyland 20 years ago. It does also confirm to me that it isn't as well detailed as the USA versions, as I didn't think it had the same feel to it. The glazed main street just doesn't have the same feel either, but because of the bad weather that Tokyo often has, the glazed roof is much needed. Disney Sea though looks really good.

I'm really loving these videos! I went to Japan Nov 2016 and went to TDL for my birthday, was so amazing as no matter what they were doing, every cast member would stop and wish me a happy birthday, even some of the guests too! Everyone is so polite in Japan but outside of TDL they were kind of reticent, but in TDL everyone gets really chatty and lively. I love all the teenage girls who dress up in matching outfits with their friends to go, takes disneybounding to the next level. The fact that the food in the parks is kind of Japanese comfort food is really cool, and all the different flavoured popcorn is amazing! Also the Jungle River host is just as funny in Japanese as they are in English! They do all the same kind of lame/great jokes. The toilets in Japan are amazing everywhere (except if you happen to find one of the Japanese-style floor toilets, but I know some people who swear by them), I especially love the fact that in a lot of public toilets you can play sounds of water running to kind of cover up your business, it's the kind of thing you think is weird when you first see it but then you miss it everywhere.

I think you got a lot of western breakfasty treats because you were in a hilton, if you stay in a Japanese restaurant the breakfasts are a lot more authentic (and awesome in my opinion!) but it looks like you are having an awesome time :)

Thank you both so much for sharing your amazing vacation with us all! Most of us will never get to experience Tokyo Disneyland, and you make us feel like we're there with you both. I love how detailed you are with everything there, and explain the sights, sounds, and smells. Oh, and my favorite part is when everyone is waving, seems like they're so friendly there! You are both incredible, real down to earth people and I couldn't be more happy for you both on your amazing KZread success! Konnochiwa!!

I love this. I LOVE THIS! I am having SO MUCH FUN IN JAPAN with you guys! Your excitement is beyond contagious. I wish I was there too. That place is so pretty, so sparkly, so... everything! Just like everything in Japan, just the perfect amount of over-the-topness. How awesome was that Jungle Cruise guide? Japanese announcers are the best... so passionate. He reminded me of an announcer from Ninja Warrior. NAGANOOOO!!!

The reason there was corn in everything: Other countries like Japan have corn on things that are known as "American style". They think Americans put corn on everything. lol.

Tokyo Disney resort was like my favorite out of all of them! They did everything so well! I was in total awe when I rode the jungle cruise like that end bit! I hope you guys got to try all the popcorn! Soy sauce and butter was probably my least fave, but I was addicted to the honey popcorn! Their Pooh ride is like a bajillion Times better than what we have here

Awesome video! I was in TDR in 2018 and loved it so much. You're right, we need Japanese toilets here in the USA. I actually got one for my home because I loved them so much :) I'd recommend doing the same. Toto has some amazing models and Tim is very handy so he could install it, no problem. All you need is a nearby electric outlet. Hope you continue to have a great time! Really enjoying watching your adventures and remembering how much fun I had while I was in Japan.

I love this video and it's been a long time goal of mine to visit TDL and I'm planning on doing so in the next two years. I've been doing research and your videos are such a refreshing take on a much superior version of the parks than most Americans are used to in the States. As a fan of the Disney Parks, I feel that visiting TDL is a must do and I too think Walt would be happy with what he would see here. WDW could definitely take some ideas and cues from TDL and put them in the Florida parks.
