    Have to agree guys,Inch beach is really hyped up. You have got to go to Derrynane beach,in Caherdaniel on Ring of Kerry.,a truly beautiful beach,one of the nicest beaches in these islands. Also,Rossbeigh beach, also on Ring of Kerry is worth a visit. Valentia island is beautiful too.

    Just a tip Dan, always wipe the dip stick clean, then re-seat in the engine and then check the oil on the dipstick, check oil when the engines cold and fill it bit by bit depending how much needs to go in, and leave it to settle and make its way down to the sump for a few minutes before checking it again and deciding if it’s needs more.

  • @geraldcampbell6834
    @geraldcampbell68344 жыл бұрын

    Dan you realy need to get the oil to the full mark and keep it there! Yes oil is expensive but a blown up engine is way more expensive then a few liters of oil! If you have an oil leak you need to keep a least a liter on hand to top it off daily!

    Daniel O’Connell is a very very important figure in Irish history - he was a politician and an amazing orator in the early 1800s. He campaigned for and achieved Catholic Emancipation by peaceful means allowing Catholics to vote and to sit in Westminster. Because of this he was known as The Liberator or The Emancipator. He was so loved that when he traveled to give speeches thousands turned up and they were called Monster Meetings (apparently over 800,000 people turned up to his meeting at the Hill of Tara) His achievement gave rise to Jewish emancipation in the UK. He also campaigned strongly against slavery in the USA which made him a controversial figure at the time. On view of his stance regarding slavery he was mentioned in one of Dickens novels. He gave a famous speech at the first anti-slavery convention in London in 1840. He was very friendly with Frederick Douglas one of the most famous Black Abolitionists who met him on a trip to Ireland. When O’Connell died Douglas mourned him saying “it is not just a blow for Ireland-it is the end of a great champion of freedom” Derrynane House is where you drove past - it’s particularly beautiful and on a gorgeous beach. It’s now a national monument and a museum to Daniel’s many amazing achievements. Prince Charles visited there recently....

    Oh and PS. I’m not sure how you travelled from NI to Sligo but you could have passed Benbulbin the only table top mountain in the British Isles (looks like the one in Capetown) Also Connemara National Park and all around Killary Fjord has The 12 Bens which is a really beautiful mountain range containing Mweelrea one of the highest peaks in the British Isles. You’re nearly beside Carrauntoohil and Mount Brandon which are very high peaks (the former higher than any peak in England and the latter just slightly ‘shorter’ than Scafell Pike in England) Enjoy!!!

    Dan where is your funnel??? Go buy a plastic bottle of pop or water... drink it up. Cut the plastic bottle in 1/2. Take the top 1/2, rinse it out. Now turn it upside down... place it in the oil intake (*after having removed that cap) & now add your oil. Keep that funnel in a plastic bag tied up in your storage for future use. Cheap funnel.

    As a professional Cameraman i would suggest you use a gimble or a tripod. This will give you steady professional looking footage, the gimble will allow you to move around and have smooth movement even if you are walking quickly . Ideally a tie clip Mic each would give that professional feel to the overall production. Remember audio is more then half the picture but i realize that utube videos are not meant to be a BBC drama.

The hob lid would do it too but a bit of bubble wrap when I close it stopped that too I like road noise not cab noise me so find all sorts of ways to shut mine up :) Ps I wrote this at 16.20 minutes in and then pressed play and you literally mentioned it that is spooky lol .

While Dan was eating his " toastie", and when Mazzy calls him " cheeky", a little feathery whisp floats up in front of him! I used to catch things like that when I'd be filming my kids all the time! I lived in a house where the bathroom light would come on at 2 am every morning, and the toilet would flush 15 seconds later! The lady who rented me the house said that her parents used to live there, her mom had alzheimer's and went to a nursing home, and passed away a year later, but her dad passed away in the home and said he got up at 2 am every morning to go to the toilet. Was thinking the same, then thought he could use a key from the van but Knowing Dan's luck he probably break the key.

    Mazzie. Tell Daniel to run that engine for a minute or two, then let it sit for a minute before checking the level. Keep up the good work. Have been enjoying the vids since before 365.

    Nick Ridley hiya actually there are no snakes of any kind in Ireland - no grass snakes and no adders - it’s due to the land bridge with the UK being gone long before those snakes arrived in the UK 👍🏻 www.nationalgeographic.com/news/2018/8/snakeless-in-ireland-blame-ice-age-not-st-patrick/
