Our First Impressions of Roatan Honduras! 🇭🇳
■ Roatan, Honduras 🇭🇳 : Our second day in the beautiful country of Honduras, we drove to this ferry, called Galaxy of the Wave, the tickets were approximately 30 USD per person one way. It was very busy and chaotic, when we arrived to give our bags and get the tickets etc. Once we got the tickets we went through security and waited to board the ferry to Roatan.
Once, we boarded and the ferry ride began shortly. Once we got seated, I decided to take a view of the ocean and the waves as the ferry began the journey to Roatan. It took around 1 hour to get to the island. The ride there was very bumpy and wavy, many people got sea sick, but myself I did not. Once we docked in Roatan, we got the rental car and drove to this beach resort, called Infinity Bay Resort. We purchased day passes to use the facilities, I got a day pass which included food and drinks, beer!
Our first impressions of this island, called Roatan are mostly positive, it is very similar and different to the Cayman Islands. The beach and ocean are very similar, same white sand and clear blue water. There are vendors who are selling snacks like ice cream and fruits, which is nice! There are many water sports vendors, who are selling their services to guests. Overall, I have loved it so far in Roatan! I hope one day everyone can visit this very beautiful and charming island in the Caribbean off the coast of the mainland of Honduras.

Are water crystal clear the whole year in Cayman? In Roatan are. Honduran islands have the second largest Coral Reef in the World, only in Honduras.
Alot of people right now in Roatán because of spring break! Vacation ✴️🇭🇳🏖️🌴

I feel ya about sea sickness … I wore sea sickness patch ( behind ear) on ferry ride to Isla Mujeras ( sp? 😬) … it saved me, everyone else got sick 🤢. I recommend the patch !! 🏝️👍

Is much better if you fly from La Ceiba to Roatán is only about $15 more then the ferry cost and you don't get sea sick 🤧

You would have to learn to speak Spanish fluently soon, to help communicate better with spouse family, and during vacation to Latin America

Thanks, Evan. Roatan looks like a great place to hang out! All the people you are traveling with, what relation are they all to Gaby? Finally, can you fully understand what everyone is saying, can you totally converse with everyone, or do you just pick up the basics, as they seem to talk quite fast? Cheers!

would you recommend the Infinity Bay Resort Day Pass? I'm staying in West Bay and trying to decide if I wanna spend some time there. A bit unclear on what is included in the daypass

Hi there! The place is nice, the day pass regular allows you to use the facility Beach and pool but no towels. That’s for 30 dollars if you want to upgrade for all inclusive drinks and buffet it’s 80
$5 for coconut???
