You have to check di-rect and Kensington at De Vrienden van Amstel live, they do covers from there heroes. With them you have the best band's of the Netherlands If you like this build up by a song then I recommend you to do Rollercoaster by Danny Vera, I think you will love it

Hey guys, yes, the lead singer is a weirdo, but I think that's inherent to being an artist (of any kind), because expressing oneself through art, be that musically or otherwise, means that one is able to perceive, think, communicate, and create outside the box and this will often manifest itself in eccentric behavior. The song in this video is part of a 10-track recording session which was done in a church building called De Duif in Amsterdam (built in 1858) in 2019. As for the band themselves, Di-rect are a rock band from The Hague, the Netherlands, and they started out in 1999. The current line-up consists of Jamie Westland (drums), Frans "Spike" van Zoest (guitar), Bas van Wageningen (bass), Paul Jan Bakker (guitar), and Marcel Veenendaal (lead vocals). Loved your reaction to this. Keep it up, or should I say 'rect'? 😜

In 2009 the former lead vocalist left the band, and a tv-show led to finding a new lead singer, Marcel Veenendaal. The Hague (Den Haag) has spawned many bands, including Q65, Golden Earring, Anouk and many others.

Yeh ,this band is from my city the Hague ( Netherlands). I know these guys from when they were very young. They are AWESOME. Please do yourself a favor and react to their soldier on video performance. It,s OUT OF THIS WORLD STUNNING. Di-rect is a GREAT BAND and i,m very proud of them .

They are from the Netherlands. And he is a weirdo when he sings because he just moves on the music, he is so passionate aboute. But he is such a very sweet person

I have seen this live, people crying in the audience. Marcel was extremely high that show. At 1 point could nit sing. And the band kept playing. The show ended with this song that day. Only Spike on guitar and Marcel singing. It was magnificenr. Even with a shorter show 😂😂

You probably don't realize it but you're reacting to a lot of Dutch musicians. Danny Vera, Anouk, Floor Jansen, Di-rect, etc. All Dutch
