😂 This brought to mind a funny memory: On the first day of excavation for our house, our builder called to ask if we wanted a garage underneath the main garage (feasible b/c the ground slopes down). We were already at our financial limit but he said we would never be able to build a room as cheaply later on. So $5k later, we had a full 20x20 foot room under the garage. Now 26 years later, it is my hubby’s hobby wood shop! Worth every single penny. Couple other budget buster items too along the building process, all totalling 11k, but in the long run we worked it out with God’s grace. You have to expect the unexpected when building a house.

We. Have rock everywhere at our home in PA. Poconos, They had to dynamite the basement area, and it's a smaller area. For the yard, we brought dirt in to have grass. I feel you. But we ha e a beautiful solid house built in rock. In the poconos now, we just built our second home in FL. And it's dirt and sand in the countryside by mt. Dora and 107 ft. Above sea level now we don't have to worry about flooding and it's 45 min from beach and 30 miles from WDW. Our main home, LOL. God bless you and your family and continue a beautiful journey with your new build ❤

My niece is in a really nice dance company in Las Cruces, NM and every year they have 2 recitals. Now these recitals are 2 1/2 hour actual shows, that the whole dance company performs in - from the toddlers to older women who take the jazz exercise classes. This year was "Peter Pan" and the costumes were unbelievable! Some of them were actually hand made, but most of them were from several different well known dance costume companies. Definitely worth the $20 to see the show! I am not kidding when I say my mouth was in a continual smile for the whole show. From the littles who were in the cutest outfits, to the grade school and high school who were in exquisite ballet attire and the older women (the oldest was 65) who were dressed as pirates as they performed a somewhat modern dance. Anyway, I hope she is in this type of dance company, because it really encourages children to continue in dance when they are rewarded with these types of recitals and fun outfits to wear. I took 4 years of ballet and we really didn't have recitals because it was just one woman teaching, but if I had gone to a dance company like my neice has, I definitely would have kept on with it. (edited) It looks like June is in that type of dance company that their recitals are actually performances. Her little outfit was adorable - was she a "ladybug"?

Thank you for sharing your videos with us. Very entertaining and well edited. Thanks for reading the scriptures at the end. There are problems in some areas in Utah lately of people having their homes built on sand. Somebody approved it, but those houses in places in Utah should_not have been approved by inspectors to build on sandy soil! I am happy The Crosby Family has a firm foundation, even before digging a foundation for your house. I love the Crosby Family!

Manti Temple is built on a rock. They had to flatten it to build on it. That's where all the stone came from to build it. Nothing grew on the hill. During the depression the Church brought in dirt to cover the hill so they could plant on it.

You guys are SUCH the SWEETEST FAMILY EVER!! Have really enjoyed your videos and sharing your life journey! Love the little “dilemma”about your house foundation🤣isn’t it so prophetic in your own life’s journey and how you are raising your kids such a perfect scripture to end your video! Christ is the ONLY PERFECT FOUNDATION in which we live our lives from!! ❤️🙏🏽❤️

We have built 4 homes… and NEVER had to dig a hole like that. I don’t understand. (But we are in Texas. A basement is very rare)

Hey, always better to build on a strong rock for a foundation and pay more upfront then have to deal with a weak, sandy foundation later on!!
