Watching this video reminded me of when I lived in Nova Scotia. Rainy foggy days where you can't do much. That chowder looked really good. I use to make that a lot in the winter. Comfort food. Too bad the weather spoiled your trip

Ahh! O'Connell's. Was there one evening many years ago for the music and the craic. Just across the Liffey from where we stayed. My Filipina wife here in Cebu has a dream to visit Dublin. She got so much into Mrs Brown's Boys, that she is in love with Dublin and Ireland in general Also, the book and movie Angela's Ashes of mostly a Limerick setting😂❤

The one thing you can guarantee about the weather in the UK and Ireland is that if you don't like it, just wait an hour and it'll change ... not always for the better though. Guinness Zero, not just zero alcohol but half the calories so technically a health drink.
