Manna. God’s provision of all we need this day in Christ to sustain us. Amen.
It has taken me too many years to grasp the benefit of the repeatability of Christ's words. Praise God, he stuck with me and kept providing wisdom through those such as yourself! Amen!
Yes to be thankful for the simple things. I'd never thought about thankfulness for the medicine I must take every morning.
I’m in my 70th year on earth. I’ve had to move to a much smaller, less expensive place due to my Dad’s negligence. Bemoaning my transition, I’ve now come to see how God is preparing me for eternal life. Divesting myself of the things of this world; waiting for the completeness of the things to come. This is God’s provision of my daily bread. What can I give up to Him today so I can have more of Him?
“Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” John 6:32-33
Praying for what we need, the ways and means to have all to the good health of our bodies and grateful for all present. I think emphasis, family joined hands with heads bowed saying of the same mind: “Jesus is The Way”. A path has been pre-determined to live life throughout all the scripture. Everything wonderfully wound together. Asking blessings to eat. Learning hopefully and early the path of our lives. Great thoughts today, Pastor. ♥️✝️
Jesus says “ I am the bread of Life” Amen
“Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. 35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. 36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. 37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6
