  • @demi8890

    @demi8890

    Ай бұрын

    It kind of does need to lead into something bigger like a brand or a tv production though? Do you really think that Pewdiepie is going to be making money off of KZread videos when he's 80 years old, when KZread may not even be popular anymore as the world will be more advanced and probably obsessed with a new type of video platform (just like what happened to Vine when KZread came along). Every single KZreadr will either need to get qualifications to get a real job, or create some sort of brand or series that will outlast their online popularity, because most of the 20-somethings making videos on here will not be popular on KZread for the rest of their working lives. Hell even Pewdiepie like I said, he doesn't get anywhere near the views he used to get, do you think he'd be rich enough to retire soon without making gaming chairs and merch and games and other things outside of KZread?

  • @MexicanHeadbanger95

    @MexicanHeadbanger95

    Ай бұрын

    @@demi8890 I don't think KZread is going anywhere any time soon. Also, Vine came and went within the lifespan of KZread, and it clearly made no dent in the armor. I do agree that, depending on the content, some people should either strive for more, or have a plan B in case things go bonkers, but I think a lot of people can make a fine living with the content that they make, or they serve as a hobby that brings in some extra cash. The real issue I'm trying to point at is the "There's only one right way" mentality. KZreadrs have always struggled with "making it big" becasue they think that their content is seen as "lesser", Arin Hanson has always said he doesn't like being called a celebrity even after 10 years of making KZread videos, so do Philip deFranco, and Jacksfilms. Also, They have all ventured out into different things, but they were always things that THEY wanted to do. They didn't go for any type of "milestone" like other KZreadrs that DID go for the easy milestones, like writing a book, or making a late night show. The best artists, the best entertainers do so by being themselves, not by trying to fit a mold that the industry is telling them "It's the best for your carreer".

    It's a shame he didn't get better weather, but if anyone's going to just keep going it'd be Garnt. I mean, they all did incredibly well but Garnt's portion seemed to mostly be a mix of misery and anxiety.

    For anyone interested, the percentage in weather forecast is not about IF it's gonna rain, but how much of the area will be affected/covered by rain.

    This is the second misunderstanding of this that I have seen, misunderstood in the same way too. While I cannot speak about devices outside of iPhones - when an iPhone, "weather app says there is an 80 percent chance of rain on a Sunday morning, that means there is a 80 percent chance of rain at any point in that area throughout the entire morning."

    7:14 fun fact. As far as I know in the US the percentage of rain on the weather app isn't chance of rain but coverage of an area. So if you lived in like orange county in California and the rain percentage was 50% that means half of OC will be covered in rain.

  • @kneau

    59:35 the good news is that Connor doesn't actually need to worry that he "lost the progress". Once you've reached a benchmark, it's much easier to bounce back up to it even if you took a long break. That super flexible guy you might have seen all over the shorts page mentioned it in one of his stories, although he spoke from "flexibility" his powerlifter friend in the video vouched that it's true for other muscle types too. I grew up with unnaturally toned abs due to my quirks in posture(always leaning or swaying to help combat stagnating blood in legs and such), so despite rarely exercising and even then never targetting the abs I still had a countable 8. Since the pandemic it went away due to poor diet and static lifestyle (took years), and till recently too. Nowadays I reworked my nightly stretch into semi exercises like a hybridized yoga. Within a week it came back stronger than ever, and only a month later it was fully countable again. Basically, the 'peak form' you once worked so hard for, but for some reason let go, is much easier to reach the second+ time around and you'll find it's almost laughable to amount you can surpass it by even with just the same effort you put into maintaining it before.

    If I have one piece of cycling advice for anyone it is this If you have rounds about in your country, and you are approaching the round about, TAKE THE FULL LANE. Do not get stuck on the outside of the round about that is the absolute worst, most dangerous place to be. Even if you are turning left with the round About, take a more middle line and signal left. If you are going straight, get as close to the middle of round about going thought in a straight line, I am often even with cars, one of the quicker people through the round about, I waste no time in round Abouts. I take them as fast as possible traffic permitting, and if I don’t have to give way.. Round Abouts are a place you don’t want to spend too much time in, get in, get out

  • @requiemforameme1
    @requiemforameme1Ай бұрын

    21:48 This is the right thing to do. If you’re moving at traffic speed (~30MPH), you need half a lane in case you get the speed wobbles. And you’re not really holding up traffic for long.

    Garnt's talking about influential pieces of media that came out during his lifetime and I'm genuinely surprised the topic of Dragon Ball just never came up. It's not exactly hyperbole to say that the landscape of animation and storytelling as a whole takes so much from the great strides that Dragon Ball made.

  • @kneau

    @kneau

    Technically, literally even, Dragon Ball predates Garnt by six years. Yes, it continued to expand and be built upon as a franchise but it already existed by the time he was old enough to discover and enjoy it.
