Hey there... I hear you're torn between three of the coolest classes in GW2: mesmer, soulbeast, and thief. Well, let me break it down for you in a way that even a n00b can understand. Mesmer: Playstyle: If you're the kind of player who loves to mind games and outsmart your opponents, then mesmer is your jam. These illusionists can control the battlefield, shatter illusions for big damage, and even clone themselves for some serious confusion. Gear: Mesmers are pretty flexible when it comes to gear, but they generally prefer power or condition builds. Difficulty: Mesmers can be a bit tricky to master, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be a force to be reckoned with. Soulbeast: Playstyle: If you're the kind of player who loves to unleash the fury of nature, then soulbeast is your calling. These rangers can transform into powerful beasts, summon spirits for support, and even control the elements. Gear: Soulbeasts typically go for power or condition builds, depending on their chosen beast. Difficulty: Soulbeasts are fairly easy to learn, but there's a lot of depth to master if you want to be the best. Thief: Playstyle: If you're the kind of player who loves to sneak around and strike from the shadows, then thief is your class. These rogues can deal tons of damage with their daggers and pistols, evade attacks with stealth, and even steal skills from their enemies. Gear: Thieves typically go for power or condition builds, depending on their playstyle. Difficulty: Thieves can be a bit challenging to play, but they're also one of the most rewarding classes in the game. So, which class should you choose? That really depends on your playstyle and what you enjoy most in a game. If you want to control the battlefield with illusions, go mesmer. If you want to unleash the fury of nature, go soulbeast. And if you want to sneak around and strike from the shadows, go thief. No matter which class you choose, you're sure to have a blast playing GW2. So get out there and explore all that Tyria has to offer! P.S. If you're still not sure which class to choose, you can always try them all out and see which one you like best. There's no shame in switching classes if you find one that you enjoy more. Happy gaming!
