Thank you for your encouragement. However, I do not think the actual contents of Questions and Doctrines are heretical. The problem originates in the, I think, unintentional switch from justification by faith in the macro hermeneutical context of the Sanctuary to embracing the protestant interpretation of justification by faith which stands within the Roman Catholic philosophical macro hermeneutical perspective. The consequences of this switch clearly show up in the ministry and writings of Desmond Ford. Most Adventist pastors, even conservative ones, embrace this understanding and apply it in various ways and degrees. So the task in front of us is not to stand against QOD but to develop all our doctrines from Scripture and from the interpretive principle of the Sanctuary Doctrine and the apocalyptic prophecies of Daniel and Revelation.

Thanks for including this seminar. Dr Canale was able to make a difficult subject understandable to lay people.

Adventism, as a last day movement was called to restore lost truth (Sabbath, Second coming, State of the dead, Sanctuary, etc) but the pillars of our faith cannot be reduce to these doctrinal truths...
