Assisi is one of Ralph’s favorite places to visit in Italy. We had just arrived in town and he was already planning our next trip back, with the grandkids! He even thought it would be a great place to retire. It truly is a great place to visit and do a pilgrimage here. We only stayed overnight en route to the Dolomites but we packed a lot in. We visited 3 major churches associated with St.Francis, his patron saint.
