Nice job guys and hope you’re enjoying the truck. I have a 15 with the 3.5L Ecoboost and am constantly impressed with it. Prior to my 15 I had a 98 F150 with the 5.4L Triton, K&N cold air kit, mass air flow sensor, upgraded coil packs and all that......and I feel the Ecoboost has much more power, is faster and pulls like a champ. I like that you mention what each mod improves and it’s basic function. You might also mention costs and put links in your description/ notes section. In doing my research, I always tend to look for someone who kind of puts a “best first mod” and continues with successive “bests”......as most of us are looking for more HP and Torque. Thanks again! 🤙

The Better exhaust would have been discard the resonator. Replace with a magnaflow dual in dual out crossover oval 11385 or 14385. Then continue the duals back replace the stock muffler with the same magnaflow crossover muffler, then duals out the back. Dyno results prove gains of 20 HP 16 Tor at the wheels over one single pipe no matter what size. Sounds deeper and looks better with 4" dual chrome tips.

If you wanna pass emissions, Don't waste money on a new exhaust system, just install a reed valve and saw-zaw or drill a hole in the top of the exhaust where it is hard to see and boom, clean air enters the exhaust, but no oil/gas exist, keeping the truck clean. Seriously, it adds to exhaust sound (a little) and solves the issue for $60 and a quarter of the effort.

Hey man I have 2016 3.5 lariat sport, special image package without the stupid stripes. 6” Pro comp lift, pro comp black series rear shocks and pro comp black series front coil overs. Running 35 BFgoodrich KO2 with 2 piece fuel rims in black.. performance mods include Turbosmart BOV (no gains like you said just fun), Roush stage 3 intake, SPD turbo adapters, SPD high flow performance catted downpipes (like yours), with 3” AWE ofg res delete exhaust (sounds mean! Best pipes for the eco in my opinion). Last but definitely not least all this new piping bolts up to new turbos from Garrett, bolt on twin turbo “garret power MAX”. So now I’m about to get the tuner from 5star... I’m hoping that after I install the tune all my codes will clear and my cel will turn off. My question is probably dumb but I was wondering what codes you were getting before the tune. I’m getting p0245 and 02456. Turbo wastegate solenoids A low -and A high. I. Also getting p035 turbo bypass valve along with my truck throwing itself in limp mode obviously the computer is freeking out with all the unfamiliar parts. So I called 5 star and they said to get the sct bdx or the hp or whatever (the one you have mounted up) . My question is will purchasing this tuner and the tunes help me clear these codes... or do I need to go and get a custom Dyno done. I’m having a lot of trouble because here in Colorado everybody’s being lame and scared to even Dyno tune my truck. They say the new platform is super complicated and what not... so yea I’m wondering if you threw any codes after your mods! And if so were the guys at 5star tuning able to help you all.

Mine went at under 60,000 thank god warranty covered it. Probably my biggest complaint about the 3.5, which I love mine it is so much fun gets great gas mileage, but the maintenance longevity compared to the 5.0 is just not there at all. I feel the 5.0 will just last way longer than a 3.5 will. Im waiting on the day my wife wants a new truck and I’m gonna take over that 3.5 and build it out to have 750hp, hopefully, to the wheels. I’m a ford guy through and through. I own a 16 f350 powerstroke. I do have to say that 3.5 is very impressive and look forward to see how it changes over the years for the better.
