My wife & I are in our 60's. Thru the years we sort of lost touch a time or two, but your list is as necessary at our age as it is at yours. Gabe, make a very legitimate effort DAILY to take time with no distractions (kids, phone, tv...) for Jess. Just 30 minutes a day and you will never lose touch with her. When you wife knows you care and take a daily interest in her, your marriage will always be buoyant and problems will be so much easier to handle.

I’m a new mom and I can definitely say this episode makes me feel like my marriage is actually going through very normal things since we have had our first child. It’s truly about the little things now, like the daily check-ins, kissing, and laughing together. Thank you for this ❤️ being intentional is the biggest thing since it’s so easy to get caught up in the craziness around us

Oh yes. Remember each other, kids are awesome, let the kid(s) keep you together not the other way around. Get the kids to bed EARLY, if it takes to much time to get them to sleep, research how to go get them to go to sleep faster.

This is such a bittersweet one for me. I think this might be the best episode so far and I genuinely had to rewind a few times to really internalize the advice you were giving. I feel like this could have saved my relationship with my now ex boyfriend. We were long distance and after some time and space, I really think we essentially broke up over communication issues and lack of intention in our actions. We‘re still on good terms and I pray that we will find our ways back to eachother some day, I really do believe he is the love of my life and that we could have salvaged our relationship with these action points. Thank you so much for sharing this, Jess & Gabe. It was genuinely so insightful ♥️ My parents were very strict when it came to dating (basically was not allowed to make those experiences), so I never really learned enough about what it takes to be in a committed relationship. I believe this will help me with any future relationship, whether it’s with him or someone else.

These episodes are so great! You two would be INCREDIBLE mentors to young couples (I know you guys are young but even newlyweds, etc) because of how much you've learned during your relationship thus far. But then I was thinking, this podcast IS a mentorship! I learn so much from your relationship, advice, and how you do things and am implementing it into my life/future plans. So thank you for making a free, easily accessible mentoring space. You guys are really the best and I'm so glad you're able to bless others with what God has blessed you with♥

Hey Jess and Gabe!! So sorry for all the unnecessary hate that has been put against you guys by all these people who truly do not understand or see your sincere heart in all that you do. People who have genuinely watched you from the start or even new followers, many are so aware of how kind, generous and God fearing you two are. & above all, you are only human, humans make mistakes, and also you have every right to stand on what you believe. In the midst of raising a baby, you keep being present for us, the last thing you deserve is this evil hate. But, all of that does not define you, and many of us are still cheering on you guys and obviously laughing our asses off because of the epic podcasts and videos you post. So, continue being you, Kind, God fearing and friggin' hilarious!!!! 😄😄❤❤

@soumyarabhi so just out of curiosity, why don't people also expect influencers (who support palestine) to give condolences to the lost lives of israeli civilians and babies? both sides are hurting, it's not just one.

@soumyarabhi I guess i just find it gross that it's socially acceptable these days (as an example) for people to spam Palestine messages on an Israeli celebrity's instagram post, like her own people don't matter. People seem to be very vocal about one side (Palestine) and don't mention the other (Israel innocents), but go after people who do the opposite (support Israel and don't mention Palestine innocents).

@@JonasBrotherLuver122 Jess and Gabe posted something along the lines of showing support to Israel during the on going war, and I believe they may have even donated some money. Not sure of all the details because I didn’t see any of the posts, just the comments on their posts. But a lot of their following was upset with them for not being well educated on Israel’s history in violence towards Palestine and were upset that they(j&g) never spoke up for Palestine over the years. A lot of comments were coming at them for not posting a public apology, making fun of Gabe’s homeschooling and lack of work status - insinuating that he should have free time to educate himself. But the sad reality, which it isn’t an excuse, is that most influencers and people in American aren’t aware of other countries oppressions and wars unless it’s publicized by American media. I feel like it’s truly just a human error but people have put J&G so high up on a pedestal that as soon as they make a human mistake, people are so ready to attack. It’s a double edged sword.
