It's great how Emma immediately runs to David. I think she's actually closer to him now than she is to Snow. In previous seasons, it most probably would have been Snow she'd run to first.

If your going to put it that way who emma is close to now, then what about in this season 4x8 when emma wanted to gave up her powers and at the end of that episode who did you see emma run and hug? yes Snow Also in this case emma see her parents running towards her , now it kind of impossible for emma to run and hug her mother first when snow is pushing the baby carriage dont you think, David is more open for emma to go and hug first ---with that being said i wouldn't say she's closer to David now more than Snow, overall i would say Emma is now open up and seeing David as her father than just a friend ( judging how she ran and leaped in his arms like any little girl hugging their father ) unlike before where we never get any of that affection from daughter to father , so it's nice we get to see that :)

franny fel I see your point. Emma is just a lot more receptive to David now than she was before, so there is no hesitation in welcoming his paternal instincts. It's a contrast to early Season 3 in Neverland when David tried to hug Emma when he thought he was going to die, but she was taken aback and had a problem reciprocating because they simply weren't as close as she was with Mary-Margaret. Now she's close to both of them. I just think that Emma and David have spent a lot more time together than she has with Snow, for obvious reasons. So maybe instinctively, she felt more comfortable going to him first.

Snow & Regina cracking up after that was great. Seeing Emma arm & arm with Elsa and Anna was sweet. Emma running up to Charming to hug him was very sweet. It's nice to see her finally accepting them as her parents.

I know & did u notice emma hugging snow twice I love how they are 1 family I so wish regina & snow would've hugged each other like mom & daughter of course not biological but still they call each other family so they are family I just want emma to start treating regina like her grandmother & for snow to be a daughter to regina & for regina to be more mommy to her that's all don't u think

“You tried to kill me with a cross bow!” At 1:02 gets me laughing every time 😂

I love how dopey is just standing there when everyone else is fighting and still act like dopey when the curse is broken he dopey no matter what speed is put on him

I love how Regina and henry stay hugging, "mommy's little prince", he also ran to hug Regina first before Emma so cute

Regina comes out of curse, first thing she says; "what am I wearing?#

I really like how snow and reginas relationship has come so far! They are the only relationship I want in this show to get better and better! I love how they put it in the past what happened years ago and that they actually laugh at the fact that she's wearing the evil queen costume when she isn't that person anymore! I would love it if in the series finale snow and regina hug and snow would call regina mom! :)

Me too finally someone who is understanding me I want snow to call regina mom & emma to be like grandma to regina & she be like huh I am grandmother now thanks snow lol & for baby neal to be her step grandson of course henry is her son but I would like for him to be more of a great grandson because he finally has his real mom back emma & it's awkard for his grandma snow to be a daughter to his adopted mom but still I want regina to be more mommy to snow & for snow to be more of a daughter aswell as emma to be more of a granddaughter

That would be an amazing series finale! :) it really would! Everything you said should be the ending of the show! Regina and snow are sooo much alike in many ways and now that they understand each other more they could really become best friends and mother and daughter! They are already becoming friends and it makes me so happy to see them having girl talk and stuff :P

I know right man that would awesome all snow ever wanted from regina was for her to be her mom of course she will never replace eva her real mom but she can be a 2nd mom to her & all regina wanted from snow was for to be happy aswell as regina herself with david & while that will never happen she has snow & emma her daughter & granddaughter

When you think about it, she actually grew up an only child as well as having multiple siblings, like foster brothers and sisters.

I like how after that fight Snow, Regina and David just laugh it off and be like , what were we doing--were we just fighting haha Then i cry happy tears when emma runs up to her parents and hug her daddy David like that, it's the first time we'ave actually seen both anxiously wanted to hug each other---you can see the comfort on David face when he hugged his daughter also how emma looking comfortable, i mean she practically leaped on him when she went in for the hug also mamma Snow couldn't wait to hug her too--oh at 1:18 did emma say momma when she hug snow ? i thought i herd momma ha! awww anyway such a sweet emotional and enjoyable scene all around...

After reading your comment I keep replaying that part at 1:18. I always thought it was MM saying "Oh" in relief. The more I play it, it sounds like Emma saying mom. But my friends are saying it's MM saying "Oh."

Emma Charming haha when i mention that part in my comment yes i came to realize it was Snow who said "Oh" in sigh of relief , so your first thought was correct :) . In any case i think it's even better because we get to see with that relief from Snow , we now know how worried she got over her daughter and wanting so badly to hold her awww their hugs to each other is always the sweetest....so heart warming and i love seeing that.

Emma Charming if you only know how it annoys me everytime when i replay the part where emma trap in the ice cage with elsa and emma calling out to her father threw the walkie saying "Dad can you hear me" , hook grab the walkie out of charming hand and he didn't get to answer to his daughter cause that was a connection moment between father and daughter and what made it worst that episode was a charming Centric so moments like that part shouldn't be taking away but hook interfere with his whining .. it annoys the heck out of me

oh my gosh yes! Hook is an insult to women and when they try to white wash him, he's just annoying. Not heroic or charming. Just annoying. I'm surprised he didn't rip the phone out of Snow's hand when Emma called her.

I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, because I really LOVED this scene. Emma embracing her parents and smiling up at them like a little girl when they were kissing, so cute

emma and david and henry and regina's reunions make me so happy

I loved seeing David Snow and Regina laughing so hard cuz we never really get to see that in shows like this

Admittedly I was hoping to hear more of the 'evil queen Regina' music in this episode cause I miss hearing it so much, but man, every time I hear that Snow/Charming music... *shivers* it's goosebumps all over and a smile from ear to ear :)!!!

it's a show called Once Upon A Time with 7 seasons. It's a phenomenal show about hope and happy endings. The character developments in this show are just amazing!!
