They deserve more scenes like this. Cause Regina is Henry's mom no matter what anyone says. It is clear she has always loved Henry

omg how i love these scenes and this episode! I hated that regina and henry didnt share more moments mother and son. lana said she actually had to fight for such scenes. which i agree with her was wrong. just cos emma came along doesnt stop regina being his mother!

Samantha Lee i never doubted regina's love for henry even in season 1. That's why i always rooted for her to change.

We got our wish in season 4. I loved all the moments between Regina and Henry. 😀

0:48 I just realized, this is the first 'friendly' conversation Henry and Regina have had since the Curse broke! That is, the first one where they are both relaxed and neither one is afraid of the other or on probation or anything like that. It would have been interesting to see them really _talk_ about things, but no, we had to have Pan show up...

1:20 The look on Regina's face when Henry takes her hand and thanks her...the thing is, she could have had this _all along_ if she had just been willing to give up being the EQ. Henry wanted nothing more than he wanted her to just be his mom and stop being the monster. But I think it's only now she's starting to realize that the person keeping Henry from her is Regina Mills, and only Regina Mills can fix things.

She did cast that protection spell for Snow and David actually in Season 6 from the moment the Evil Queen came back after Regina split herself in half in an attempt to get rid of her darkness as referenced in 6x07.

I have to hand it to her she has pure good intentions and tries to stay away from Little pesky evil tendencies. When she can of course I think quite a few moments of her playing peacemaker. For the most part it is mostly in a calm manner when she is calm I mean. Despite her a small Time moments of upheaval due to her life troubles and her life struggles. Mostly due to others in her life in those who are connected to her life.

Cal from "Manifest" is like a twisted version of Henry. At least Henry tried to understand that even though Regina was a villain, that doesn't mean he must not see the grey area of things. Cal on the other hand, sees black and white only. For him there's only the Callings. And because of him, Angelina killed Grace.

I would love to own that Pandora box literally I would love to own that particular box.

Regina didn't start being his mother until she was willing to sacrifice for him. EMMA knew something was up when they switched bodies. Regina had no clue. Why? Because Henry and Regina had never connected. Ever.

Well to be fair, Henry spent all of his time with Emma never with Regina. So, Regina was so desperate to spend time with her son. She saw the signs of Henry not being himself but chose to ignore them for this reason. Tbh, I think Henry is awful. He treated Regina like crap the first two seasons (I'm not saying he should've allowed the curse to continue, just like Regina shouldn't have made him feel like he was crazy. But he could have at least been loyal to Regina when she was framed for killing Archie.). Even in the beginning of season 4, Henry's afraid Regina will go back to evil because of the thing with Robin's wife. Regina needs time alone sometimes, she's changed and all of them including Henry should know that by now. Regina's always been his mother, she just wouldn't let go of the Evil Queen side until Henry needed her to save him from Pan.

@@ashleypanzica4924 Yeah, you have a valid point. But, if I remember correctly, didn't Regina try to use Archie to destroy Henry's beleif and spirit? "I want you to take that hope Henry has and crush it" That wasn't something a mother would want for her own child. And then she tried to poison Emma, not so she could keep Henry, it was so the curse could continue. And framing Mary Margaret, that wasn't because she was bad or evil it was because she was evil. And Henry says "you really are the evil queen" she doesn't deny that she evil. She said it hurt her the he saw her that way. Then in never land pan ties them to a magical tree and regret would keep them their but Regina didn't feel bad at all she regretted nothing. Not making Henry miserable not the way she treated him not framing Mary Margaret not killing gram not poisoning Emma and certainly not mentally abusing Henry.

@@ashleypanzica4924 How would he know she _didn't_ kill Archie? As she herself admitted later, she was the natural suspect. ANnd in S4, Regina almost _did_ revert to evil, she had actually decided to murder Marian _again_ , she changed her mind at the last minute, but Henry's suspicions were reasonable and smart. Regina has a _horrible_ track record.

@@lemonadelemon1960 Yeah, there's no way around it, Regina was a ghastly bad, abusive parent in S1 and before. The sweet nice loving mother version of Regina is a just fanon, wishful thinking. The actual canon is right there on the screen, and it's not very nice.

Idk, i think that Regina knew that something was wrong with Henry, but she chose to ingnore because she finally had a good relationship with her son after long time apart. I agree with you about Regina was a bad mother until season 2, i mean she has cursed everyone and made feel henry crazy. But in season 2 she voluntarily entrust Henry to David because she knew that it was the best thing for her son even if she wanted him. That’s when she start to change. In addition, every time Henry has a problem he goes to Regina for help. So i think that their realtionship has evolved through the seasons, beginning bad and finish like a true mother and son
