The OTIKEN group consists of representatives of the indigenous peoples of Siberia, mainly Chulyms. The Chulym people are the result of a mixture of Turkic-speaking nomads and the Keta people, who, as linguists and geneticists have established, are carriers of the very ancient Yenisei-Dene culture of the ancestors of the Ainu (Japan), Navajo Indians (North America), Finns (Scandinavia) and Hungarians (Eastern Europe). If you listen to ethnic music, you can’t help but pay attention to how many new original elements Otyken's music has. They have lots of great songs. You are spot on from Siberia. You can't really see the guy doing the throat singing in this video but is more visible in others. You should definitely do more of them.

I saw an "ad" on Facebook for Otyken a couple weeks ago. They looked super cheesy to me and the first video I watched from them was Khan Blues, which is kind of cheesy. I figured I'd listen to their other songs and much to my surprise I love their other stuff. Really enjoying them, and the ladies are not too bad to look at either 😅
