    Can I say something? You've always been an inspiration to me. It's sounds terrible, but I've been anonymously following you for almost 10 years on Deviant Art. I taught myself to draw as a kid, and I would always check to see what you would post next because it would stoke my imagination. Until my skills took flight, I used to try and mimic your art so I could try to understand what drawing humanoid characters _felt_ like. And I REALLY appreciate your policy to remain SFW. If only more artists had that standard.... While I don't have the finances right now to start sharing my art online, I've started using my skills around my city, even writing and illustrating my own novel! Keep up the amazing work, you are a blessing, an encouragement and a motivation for more people that you know! Merry Christmas!

    What does being "SFW" have to do with anything?

  • @Icey7405

    @Icey7405

    5 жыл бұрын

    @@gusazoth Being Safe For Work makes sure that kids aren't being shown any adult content, not only that but being SFW also builds up an opinion about the characters and the artist that drew said characters. In this case, since he found Temiree at a young age, being SFW not only stopped him from being exposed to adult content, but also made him as a very inspirational to the commenter, and I can agree with him! I have another artist that inspires me, but I would like him even more, if he didn't have so much Not Safe For Work content, but it's the artist's choice, and I got to suck it up, and it's his style of art that inspires me, not the content. That's why I'd say that Safe For Work is important for, at least, two things.

    This relates to siblings growing up, things being abit hectic where each likes what they like. They seemed to like alot of different things. The end made me tear up, I saw that the big otter cared alot and was protective for the little otter. This story overall was truly wonderful, tense at the bear part, but truly wonderful! Otters are such cute cuddlers ❤

    Sorry about that! Here's an interpretation from Zele B that was pretty on point for what I was trying to go for: "From what I understand, the story starts when the main characters' (two brothers) parents don't come home from a hunting trip. The implication is meant to be that they died. The older brother, who clearly spent his life with a close bond to the parents, is in extreme denial. His obsession with shiny things is his hope and his belief that they'll come back; they just need to be shown the way. So, he collects a hoard of shiny objects to signal his parents with. The younger brother, however, who was just an infant when the parents went missing, moves on much more easily from their disappearance. He doesn't have the connection or memory to them the older brother does, and so the reality that the parents are not coming back (seen when he hugs his brother the day he stops signalling for them) sets much more easily with him. The older brother, though, doesn't. Up until the watermelon, he spends his days in denial and despair. He becomes stoic, and angry at his younger brother, who no longer seems to care about their parents, if he ever did. The younger brother in turn starts to feel alone and neglected, like his only real companion in life cares more about glass bottles and a fruit then him. The watermelon changes them as it forces the older brother to choose between denial (his parents coming home) and acceptance (throwing away the shiny watermelon to save his brother), as well as showing the younger brother that his sibling does genuinely care about him. While this seems like a simple 'save your family after a bad argument + sad flashbacks' story, it really reads more as a touching tale on grief, grief-created obsessions, unhealthy coping methods, and moving on from mourning a death or general trauma. All of which, in my opinion, were handled with admirable brilliance and heart in this film. I hope this helps!"

    Sometimes we lose our minds when we become distracted or, worse, fixated on earthly needs, whether it be money, gems, or food, away from the people closest to us. But none of this will replace human happiness like being with someone, knowing someone and loving someone as a friend or part of the family, though not by blood, but by right.

    I'm so inspired by your story. Hope you'll make new animation film (Temiree). This is so good, it's so good that it makes me cry every time I see Drama in your animation. Thank you for showing this.

    Awww I'm glad you loved it so much! :D I want to make a new animatic soon. Once my comic Little Runt is completed, I have something in mind I'd like to create. :)
