This doesn't make any sense at all when you listen t some of John's covers where he sings all the parts differently and I'm also sure that he's been quoted saying he loves hearing people perform his music. I have literally never heard about that at all though Kay. lol.

You just earned a subscription. As a huge Mayer fan, I have to say I'm impressed by this cover. TSFE is not the most memorable album, but this song ages well.
