I think this slowed down cover makes it almost a new song.

+jldude84 Why? He interpreted the lyrics to the song differently. This was his take on what he heard, what it meant to him and honestly there is a vulnerability layered in it that is difficult to achieve without authenticity.

I like fast paced songs like speed metal but I still like Otherwise, the lead singer's pretty good and I love the original so yeah, I'll gladly listen to this.

I like how they take the fast paced tempo in Billy's song, and mellow it down like this, almost feels like a love song now..

Pushing 50 years old and I never really "felt" old till I heard this TODAY. Given I was 13 years old when MTV came out and HELL YEAH!! BILLY IDOL!!! This sounds like something we'd hear at the end of the road of life. LOVE IT!!

One of the best covers I've ever heard. I bet Billy Idol himself loves this version. There's an honest warmth about this.

I heard it during work. Being a delivery driver has it's advantages.

I heard this while driving in my truck today and knew I had to find out who did it. I dig it!!!

This is a great example of what a great cover should be.

This cover has such an awesome feel to it. I put this in the middle of a playlist that is made up mostly of fast-paced rock/metal and every time it cycles to this song the contrast catches my attention and just settles me. It is a cool feeling.

+MrTesla317 I agree. I never heard the lyrics until I listened to this version and then I found myself understanding the first and second… perhaps others… interpretations of this song. For anyone to take the original and do what they did with this cover is a risk. For me it sits in the pit of my stomach rather than raging in my head like Billy's version did. I relate better to this version, not because it's better but because it takes a chance of saying what is, from the heart.

I got to meet and hang out w this band and Ive seen them perform a bunch such a underrated band. I always wanted to see them make because this guys voice is amazing and most their songs dont even do it justice. I'd like him to come out and be more raw and push it a little more.
