Dave does old man things. Like having a story for EVERY topic. And also falling down while throwing a roller and then jamming it in on the next shot to leave everyone speechless. Yep, that's why I still play at 60. Just to see the wtf faces on all the young guys out there. Old man energy is a real thing...until the end of the round when it's time for a nap.

my uncle has been disc golfing for 40 years. His PDGA number is 10,XXX. He has taught me so much and I will say this... in the 10 years we've been throwing together (him more seriously than me) I have only beaten him three times. And those were when we played new courses. He just turned 60 last year. he has not a brown hair on his body but when you see him throw, you are not expecting him to get the distance he does. Old guys on the course are not to be judged. There are too many young people out there who know everything about discin because they watch paul mcbeth on youtube and try to do what he does. Sometimes it pays to listen to an older fella on the course.
Dave Feldberg is the dude you can't tell anything to or he's adding it to one of his next stories. He's hilarious 🤣
"No interviews anymore I like it." Me too, Simon.
Feldberg played out of his mind! Deserved some $$$ for that front 9.
32:08 BEST CAMERA WORK IN THE BUSINESS! Feldberg zings it in from 100ft and the camera person keeps the disc in the center of the screen the whole time! Such nice work I had to call it out!!!😮😮😮
1:40 love seeing the legend Will Shusterick excited to see the boys play. We need an OG skins match, Feldberg, Schultz, Shusterick and maybe a Climo if someone could get him on!!!!

I was wondering if that was him!
That silent disbelief reaction after Dave's throw-in is something awesome.
Get Will Schusterick out there you guys should have him play sometime, dude is a legend! Thanks for the Hard Work guys!
You can tell dave came up in the time when dudes were trying hard to play head games
This is such a pleasure to watch!! I remember the Rochester Tourney with Feldberg hitting that insane shot up the hill and then taking it in the playoff. This video is full of fantastic memories and incredible shots! Feldberg + Simon, with spots of Schusterick comments? YES PLEASE.

I read a couple of comments on this video about Billy Strings. Never heard of him, so I checked him out on KZread. That style of music is right up my alley. I have been a fan of Corey for a while, but now I'm a bigger fan knowing that he digs that style of music. 🤟

@@RobMc612 He definitely has the look/vibe of someone I'd see at a technical death metal show, so not surprising.
Cmon Simon you already got 10 million.-Dave😂
I've been watching these skins matches since the beginning and that shot of the stunned group after the Feldberg throwin was the best I've seen. The replay of the annie flight of that putt was topnotch, too. Great work GK Pro!
Even after filming Dave over 100 times in slow motion back in 2015 when I caddied for him (when he beat Simon for the NZ Champs) I still can't understand how Dave can throw so hard without closing his elbow almost at all. He has very enigmatic form, and I still love to see him crush. Thanks, GK Pro and OTB. FYI: I share a birthday with Dave - April 6th - and I am 12 years older than him, so he is now 46. Edit: 2:27 - is that Mr. Will Shusterick watching the play? Oh man, I sure would love to see him throw some drives as well!

100% agree. I followed his group at Masters Worlds a couple years ago and I couldn't wrap my mind around how he gets so much power.

I think it's because his weight shift is so efficient. He's studied the biomechanics of the throw and really broken it down into a simple swing.
@AceItDiscGolf
Жыл бұрын
Very large movement of his mass and working with gravity to power the swing. He has pristine pendulum throw in sync and balance from beginning to end. I think everyone can learn a lot from him even though his arm action is not ideal from a leverage perspective.

Why would Felds lie about his age? To get pity or be seen as being better at an "older" age? He's not 5'-11" either. I used to respect you bro. Shattered. Still love Simon!
I love that y’all are getting the old-timers like Feldberg and Schwebby on these. Their games look so different than modern guys but they still hold up and they have great stories/approaches to the game.
Dave's slip roller to throw-in was an epic moment. Thanks to him for doing all that disc golf instruction content years ago, when it wasn't so common on YT.
Caddying in the Masters and for Simon Lizotte. That aint a bad few weekends.

I could listen to Dave Feldberg talk about stories for hours. Wealth of information, plus has all the skills!
Here for Feldberg stories
Love to hear AB on the DG grind. You can finish school at any pace you want. His distance and prowess today is a boon to be leveraged now. Great vid, yall!
Hogan drinking water on hole 8 is the best! This card was a great watch, thanks GK. watching Feldy is a treat.

Having AB and Simon on skins is such a treat. Those big arm thrower that can try whatever janky line they want is exciting
Big gulp of iced Coffee has fully kicked in now, Feldberg is taking all the skins on the back for sure
The PUSH banner on hole 3 before Dave just bangs a 60 footer was *chefs kiss*
Got Will walking around and not playing. I miss seeing him on coverage.
This is unreal… the stories, the falls, and long putts…
im 30.. im 47... simon- "Woah"
Every time I look at feldberg I cannot unsee rumplestiltskin from shrek 😂😂😂
It is amazing where the walks down the fairway are more important than the throws. I love disc golf
I played once with Dave it was a great experience when he came through Fresno. He was so helpful to me with little nuggets of pleasure and this is a great way to interview. AB is going to school things like that I love to see. Portland open gonna be epic thus year.
"Come on now Simon....you already got $10 million!!" bahahahhahaa!!!
I love how every player threw a their own line on hole 3. More holes should be like that.
Dave still got it
Best comment of the round- "Come on Simon, you've already got 10 million!"

In saying that, however, there's nothing fake about Dave. He is just unapologetically Dave - and I like that about him. When I caddied for him for a week, I learned that unlike most players who have an Inner Asshole who talks to them constantly, Dave has an Inner World Champion, and Dave has quiet little muttered conversations with that Inner World Champ.

I met Dave and his Buddy Todd Branch in 2001 at a pro/am in Va. I have forgiven but not forgotten how 2 Pro’s treated 2 am’s on their card. I won’t be nasty like they were to us that day. I’ll just say I hope Dave and Todd are better people today than they were in 2001.
ahhhhhhh the interviews at the start were silly and a fun way to kick it off. #BringBackTheIntro
Mad skills at play with this card!!!
Dave telling Simon c'mon man you already got 10 million was on point
Oh man Will was my favorite player 8-10 years ago. Miss watching him play, would have been an all time great for sure.
