Oh wow nice! I always liked sticking with the original, for example Supra ZR > Pulse. But this white verdion, Volt looks pretty sick! Im hope to get one one day and switch the batteries! Put the black guards on the white oster and the black battery on it tool lmao Damn all these dog clippers got barbers looking fresh tho.

I was considering getting these over the octanes, but the fact that I need to hold a button down every time I need to switch my blade is too much hassle I think.. would become annoying

Reggie I have had the oster volt for 3 years and had to send back 5 times and have paid total of around $450 for repairs at $80 plus shipping per time.. I have complained and they fixed 1st time for free because it hadn't been a year. So now they are saying $120 for repairs and they never will itemize the repairs so I am going to let them keep them. I am not spending penny more.I talked to the tech and she said the volt are pet clippers and thats why they only have year warrantee and the octains have 3 year warrantee. but i told her 3 years ago they were marketing as Barber clippers they just went in and changed all the adds to pet clippers

Wait..ive been barbering in California since i was 18 and now im 22 turning 23 I didnt know that it was actually required for us to out the guard on the clipper while its running. I actually thought it would damage my shit. Eventually, not right away. But you said that we're supposed to put it on while its running. WHAAAAAT can you explain please? Thats dope if your right, dope that you knew that

If you are a mobile barber I say get the Octane or Supra ZR2 because of the extra battery. If your're in the shop go with the Supra ZR1.

my favorite clipper is 1 the legend PANASONIC GOLD LIMITED EDITION ER-1611N

will not charge clipper and battery at same time have to take one out.I like the clipper but they just stop once or twice a year and $80 plus shipping to get fixed with cost of clikkers and repair i have spent around $800 in 3 years

The Octane doesn’t have the extra blade lock as pictured with the Volt.

The ZR is a bust, the battery cant be removed and its also stupid heavy, not to mention the speed change function is A gimmick... the grip on the ZR is legit though

Its cheaper and they use the same blades... not necessarily for animals as you could use barber trimmers on animals too
