Reader Kitteh I disagree too. I like pretty much all the characters in this anime, but Eren is probabbly still my favorite so far (him and Annie). Its kinda strange, becouse Eren is that tipical wanna-be-hero type of main character, but still, AOT somehow managed to make that figure epic. And i love the way he tend to yell in those blood boiling scenes. Oh ou definately need the original voice for the full effect.

Brick Top I don't think he's typical at all. In fact, the main reason I like him so much is because out of all the characters in the show, he's RIGHT. And he's fighting as hard as he can to do something about it. Erwin is my second favorite character.

Orgaya Thats what i was trying to say, that he is not typical. He just had a lot of common with those typical protagonist characters. Lets just compare him to Harry Potter (one hell of a boring ass character). Both of them lost their parents, both of them are RIGHT, both of them are the biggest hope of their kind (since Eren got his titan power). And yet Eren is so much more entertaining. I mean the idea is typical, but the execution is not so its all good :)

no they're not blood releated. Levi took up the Ackerman name out of respect for his mentor Kenny Ackerman or Kenny the Ripper as he's also called. Whether Kenny and Mikasa are related is not confirmed.
