Im probly amature compared to you guys cuz it comes at perfect time for me when the final battle is starting for me.. This by far my favrotie track in all of AoE2. is there any similar ones?

beautifully composed. my only complaint is this music doesn't come earlier enough in the game!

Alexandru Jugureanu I'm not saying that, at least I'm not meaning to, plus aoe2 is one of the greatest games ever created, I agree xD I think there can't be one 'best' I always think of 'one of the best' , but yeah aoe2 is one of the greatest games ever to have existed, and I'm very lucky to have had it throughout my childhood!!!

That first song is so catchy! I love when it comes on in-game.

The first time I heard "Diamond Dragon" was when I played the last scenario of the "El Dorado" campaign, "The Cannibals." The track started at about the same time I started the tournament challenge with the Eagle Warrior running around to grab relics for stat buffs. The music felt like it was written with that tournament in mind.

I like this version of Diamond Dragon more than the DE one. The Southeast Asian tunes and instruments are more prominent and flavourful here.

Wouldn't be out of place in the original AOE II Soundtrack

This is a pretty damn good recreation of the game's style of music, to a point where I didn't even realized these were new songs, and thought they were pieces of music from AoE Conquest that I didn't remember about, which speaks volumes about how good these compositions are.

This is amazing work. It brings back a lot of nostalgia from when I was a kid playing some of those games from the 90's/early 2000's. Reminds me also of those older historically themed films based off Asian history. Overall good stuff, many feeling buttons and memories were pressed.

Thank you Kagayaki :) Unfortunately is Ensoniq TS12 ( and many others good old synthesizer) still expensive. Here in Germany you have to pay for a second hand TS12 about 600 €.

This makes naval battles very interesting and relaxing even if ur navy is losing.Please make an extended version of this And I still play rise of rajas.De CD arrival delayed for COVID restrictions and lockdowns

I'm so glad they decided to add this. I was very disappointed that African Kingdoms didn't come with a new soundtrack and almost didn't buy it. Soundtracks make or break games for me. I wasn't planning to buy this game at all, but this made me change my mind completely. Great work to the Forgotten team :)

I changed the order of the music in Age of Empires II: HD Edition so I can hear Diamond Dragons as xmusic3. Good job! I am waiting for new versions of Original OST , it would be incredible to hear a new version of The Bovinian Derivative

Hatte mich an Medieval Melody und Sick Sate Rittim erinnert :) Ich hoffe mal, dass AoE 1 noch ein HD Remake bekommen wird, einen Mod gibt's ja bereits EDIT: Erinnert auch an die beiden ungenutzen Tracks Bust (Give the Drummer Some Mix) und Gyam Shorts aus der AoE 2 Demo :)

There must be a mod for DE for returning OG OST, INCLUDING the rise of rajas too

It would be cool to hear a remix of the AOE 2 soundtrack "I Will Beat on Your Behind". Probably my favorite soundtrack in the game.

The only problem with these soundtracks is that you only hear them after 1 and half hour later the game. :

Of course, you can hear that, but these songs are played at the last part of the bunch of themes in the game. So, you may hear the themes at least after 1:30(hours) during playing.

hey nguyen jimmy, first thanks for your kind words. Just start to play a instrument (for example piano). Learn some Age of Empires songs and try to train your improvisation and composition skills. WIth industriosness and your motivation its possible! Just start! :)

I wonder if you can remaster AoE 1 and Rise of Rome music, especially Polyester Jammy, my favorite track.

I wish there was a mod for AOE2 DE which let you set the playlist. While not my favorite of the AOE soundtrack (Probably because still, years later, they've yet to grown on me... because I barely hear them), I have to say it is still criminal that these tracks often go unheard.

At around 50 sec you can hear this really irritating rumbling noise, it happens later on too but other than that this is epic!!!

I found that music files in \Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Age2HD esources\_common\sound\music folder. xmusic21,22,23 files are that music. :-)

They play right after Neep Binny Nod from the Conquerors Soundtrack :)

Diamond Dragon is my favourite track in Age of Empires II. The HD version is also better than the DE version.

Listen at 1.25 speed.

Do you have some connections to the producer of the game? They must make a new medieval AOE4. It must be a sign for Microsoft, when this game have so many fans after 17-18 years! If you make then the tracks for the game and if the the playing type is similar to this, then it just can be successful.

My 8-Player Matches usually reach this mark to enjoy the Rise of the Rajas tracks and go beyond, that's why I added some tracks from AoE 1 as well :)
